Happy Hump Day...!
Gotcha. I didn't remember what Joshua's urology issue was until you replied. Sorry to hear that Zach has been sick for so long...wasn't he your little one with ear infections a week or two ago? Poor thing! and poor mommy too!! It's never easy taking care of little ones when they are sick.
I hope they figure it out and he feels better soon!

2 weeks ago Zach was diagnosed with Roseola after having fevers x 5 days. It never seems to stop with him.
Thanks,

Hello. Today is 2 months since Maggie died. At times it seems so short, and at times so long, because so much has happened. Yesterday was the anniversary of the accident. I decided to honor Maggie's donation by donating blood yesterday, myself.
I am feeling quiet today. Memories float by, in and out of my mind. My emptiness is here and I don't know what to do with it. Ignoring it doesn't work, and embracing it too firmly makes me more depressed. I guess I need to find the middle ground.

I can't begin to remember how many times now I've gone to work with my underwear on backwards - it doesn't fit real well that way! LOL
Good morning all..
I'm still having problems with my pc. Grrr! I'm glad I have my laptop but I'm not use to these keys!
Christie...I hope you get to feeling better. My grandpa also had shingles and I had thought it was an old person's illness until Tiffany got it. Poor girl. I think she was a freshman. She hasn't had any reoccurances of it since then that I know of. Shanna..shingles has something to do with the chicken pox virus. I don't remember if it's a hibernating side effect or what. My grandpa's would cover his legs but Tiffany's was like Christie's and covered her torso.
Lisa...I laughed when I read about your pants! I've gotten to work more than once and figured out why things didn't feel right was that I had my underwear on backwards..and usually inside-out too. I don't turn on the light in the bedroom because I don't want to disturb Bill at 4 in the morning so I'm trying to get dressed my the light of the tv. Since they print the info on material now instead of those scratchy tags, I find it pretty easy to pull an oops. Especially when I'm still half asleep!
Jeannie...Please ask your dietician about how many calories you should be getting in. You will put your weight loss at a complete standstill if you get in too few. Your body will go into starvation mode. I was told 1200-1400 cal/day to keep loosing weight by my dietician.
You all have a good day!

Shanna, shingles are definitely no fun! Apparently, when you have chickenpox, the virus never really leaves your body. It lies dormant in the nerves. Under stress, or when your resistance is low (like following major surgery!) it reactivates and follows the nerve bands. I'm lucky it is on my torso. Sometimes it is on the extremities or on the face!
It can take 2-3 months to heal. I had a low grade fever and a headache for nearly 10 days before hand. I thought I had a sinus infection - but it was really the shingles making themselves known. So - this is kind of like adult chickenpox.
Leah, I'm at work because I used up all my sick time having the surgery! My boss doesn't feel I need to take off much for this. So, here I sit... can't concentrate much either. I am still breaking out with the rash and blisters - they haven't scabbed over yet. I know, TMI. I plan to be at the exchange Saturday as long as I am feeling up to it. I'm not contagious if you have had the chickenpox. I'm really not contagious unless you come into contact with the fluid from the blisters. That's not going to happen since they are in areas covered by my clothing, so you're all safe!
Love you all!!

Only (and not that you want know) but back then I wore thongs (can I say I hate them now lol) Well they werent actually inside out but I had one leg through the waist hole and boy they were a mess, I kept wondering why they were more uncomfortable then normal then when I got to the bathroom at work I noooo wonder, things we do when we are half asleep getting ready for work!
