on my grill tonight was turkey burgers.  I sauted some onion, green peppers, and mushrooms just until soft since it doesnt take long for ground turkey to cook. I then  mixed that into the ground turkey after it had cooled along with some feta cheese, basil, garlic, and italian seasoning. Made that into patties and put on the grill. I thought it was very good myself.  The turkey is the honeysuckle white ground turkey breast 99% fat free.  It has 28 gm of protien for 4 oz. The feta cheese had a little more fat then I would like (4 gms for 1 oz) but I saw a fat free version, I was just to chicken to try that one.  It does have 6 gm of protien for 1 oz though.

I use the FF Feta all the time.  There is absolutley NO difference in the taste.  I love it in salads and over a tomato/cucumber dish I make with red pepper dressing - Yummooooo - Out of this World yummy!!!

When we go to the annual campout in Middlebury the second weekend of August we have low sugar smores. We roast the suger free marshmallows over the campfire and use sugar free chocolate bars and the low fat grahm crackers. The only sugar is what is in the crackers. Most of us can only eat one so it's not much.

Hopefully you all will be able to make the campout this year.

I love campiong and with surgery scheduled in May this will be the firs tcamping season of this journey...I am loving the ideas that have been posted...

here is one for you:
if you can have bananas, cut off the peel on about 1/3 the long way..peel back and cut banana up into pieces (keep in peel) put SF marshmallows (cut up) in between pieces of banana...wrap entire thing (with peel) in aluminum foil and put over fire or in coals...heat up and YUMMY!!!  taste like banana bread FRESH!!! 

before suregery I would have added chocolate chunks in it too..but either way is GREAT!!!
