TGIF!!!!

Toes Go In First....  no, really it's Friday!!!  Woo Hoo!

Anyone got good plans for the weekend?  As for me, I have errands to run tonight, and plan to spend tomorrow in Kokomo visiting my Mom and Dad at the nursing home.  At least they are both in the same nursing home now, although not in the same room.  He requires dementia care and becomes violent at times, so my sister and I keep them separated.  At least she can get in her wheelchair and go down and see him.

Sunday will be time to recover from Saturday, and catch up on hiking to the top of Laundry Mountain aka Mt. Washmore.

Hopefully Saturday night I can get hubby to take me to the Drive In.  I'm not even sure what movie is on, but it doesn't matter.  I just love going to the Drive In movies

Monday night is the cooking class at Dinner by Design.  I am so looking forward to that!

I'm working today - can't wait for the day to be over and it's only started! LOL

Tomorrow Mom and I are scrapbooking with some girls from work it's our second month of doing it so it should be fun.

Sunday, my Aunt is leaving for Las Vegas on a business trip so we'll have to go give my Gma her insulin shot and entertain her for a few days.  She's got Parkinson's so injecting herself isn't a good idea because of the shaking... but neither is eating corn but she tries anyway.  I know I shouldn't but I want to laugh EVERY time she orders it.  She gets that spoon loaded up and by the time she gets it to her mouth all but 2 kernels have fallen off!   I know!  I'm going to be old one day and this could happen to me and what's worse is I don't have kids to take care of me when it happens... dang... off to the nursing home for me....  well isn't that a happy thought

So glad I could bring everyone down so early this morning... someone else post quickly so mine won't drag everyone down!  LOL

Good morning everyone!!!

TGIF.... 8 more hours and I'm off for the weekend.  I have been fighting a cold the last few days and I wi**** would just go away.
Taking my little guy to the zoo tomorrow hopefully... finishing up remodeling of our bathroom...that's about it.

I'm getting frustrated....  I am at 202 and just want to get under that 200 mark... I have been at 206-202 for the last 8 weeks now.....   guess I will really enjoy it when it comes.

Christie, I can't help it but you make me laugh with every post! Can't wait to spend some time together on Monday at dinner and cooking class.

Zachary had me up 5 times last night. He was unconsolable and I felt so bad for him. His ear is leaking bloody drainage. Calling the ENT this morning to make sure that's ok. I'm hoping he is feeling better tomorrow cause we want to take the boys to the zoo to enjoy the nice weather. Other than that, no major plans this week.

Monday during the day, my oldest has an appt with a urologist for possible surgery (not fun). Cooking by Design class is Monday night and I can't wait.

Good Morning All

TGIFBusy day here at wor****il noon, then our department is putting on a hog roast for all of IPD and IWU, we were told we are expected about 250 people. 

Saturday I have a field trip with Ashley to Purdue in West Lafayette, we are to be at the school by 7am.

Sunday we have tckets for the country expo in Indy, I am looking forward to that. The last time I went was before my surgery and I was not able to do much walking and my back was hurting so bad, we were not able to stay long.  So I am so excited in this because I will be able to walk and walk and walk.  LOL

I am doing the happy dance, I am taking off a half of a day Wednesday and Thursday & Friday as vacation days.  I am leaving Wednesday to go to Kentucky to pick my 2 oldest grandkids up and driving back Thursday.  Steven and I will drive them back on Sunday.  This is my graduation present to myself.  It is going to be wonderful to spend that special day with them.  I am hoping my daughter will come, but I am not holding my breath on that one.  I understand why she doesn't but it would still be wonderful to have her here and that way my youngest grandson could be here also.

Well it is after 8 I guess I better get to work, if I do not get a chance to post this weekend,  hope everyone have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Just another day of fun filed things to do... First I have to meet my sister and neice at the Cancer center to hear all about where her cancer has spread to and how they are going to treat it. Then I am picking up my son and taking him to VA to get him signed up for benifits.. he was in the Navy and needs to get his BP under control.. He is only 30!!

Then I get to rest at work cking out people until 11pm at Wally  World.. WOW!!

At least I wont have time to eat....

Friday at last.  It's been a busy week.  My boss works in Columbus, Ohio, but was in town all week.  I'm going to Columbus, Ohio next Wednesday so he can take me to lunch for Secretaries Day.

Brenda and I went to see Sabrena last night and she's doing fabulous.  She was tired, but hardly looked like someone who just had surgery.

We're having our new blinds installed tomorrow.  I'm so excited that we can take the sheets and blankets off the windows.  LOL 

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  Hope to see everyone next Saturday at the Clothing Exchange.

One of my life long friends (we've been friends since kindergarten and we ALL know that that was only 15 years ago...harr harr harr!!!) are going to Richmond this weekend for a girls get away and to see her sister...
it will be fun....a wkend away from the husbands...

Good morning, its another bright and sunny day out there. I wanna go walk on the trail here but I think today is just gonna be a lazy day. I'm to tired to want to do anything this morning.  Stripped wall paper and painted yesterday and was suppose to clean carpets today cuz the giant 6 month old puppy of ours cant seem to get the potty thing right  but I think I will just catch up on my dvr'd shows and play the wii.

Linda my husband found out he had extremely high blood pressure when he was 32. He didnt even know it until he had went in to get his physical when he was going back over seas. Diffently to young to have those issues already.

Good morning all...

I was up alot last night so I relly slept in this morning. I have to get ready pretty soon. I have to get some blood drawn for my endocrinologist appointment on Monday and then we'll be heading to the lisence branch. We got the paperwork for the Kia for the title, plates, etc. I also have to get my lisence renewed while where there.  Oh..we need to run over to Tiff's too. I had made up a gallon of my protein mix yesterday. It has decaf coffee in it. I had heard from my pcp that Mayo wants me to have a couple of bloodtests done..and no coffee or tea (even decaf) or several other things for 3 days prior to having them done. I don't want the protein mix to go to waste so Im bringing it over to Tiff. I was going to wait until after I drank all of it to start on that 3 days but I figured that as long as I'm nauseated from the antibiotics, I might as well go ahead and withhold those food & drink items.

We don't have any plans over the weekend. We'll probably stick close to home and lose to the potty. Darn antibiotics!
