Lyn update

First of all I want to say I have been praying for all those in need in our OH family and for all of us as we all need prayers for all the unexpected things that come up in life.  I sometimes, most times don't get a lot of time to post that I am praying for someone but I am.

Lyn is doing good at home.  Not a lot of change but it seems he sleeps better than at the hospital and I know I do.  He did move his head from one side to the other Saturday night when our grandson told him bye and moved his hand about 4 inches.  That is so little but so BIG when it is the first thing that has happened.  He is also making noises which of course are nothing we can understand and very well could just be moans but it is again something different.

I am keeping very busy taking care of him with all of his medications and treatments and etc but it is so worth it.  It is so great to be able to talk to him and have him home.

I think I have a sitter worked out for the clothing exchange.  I am hoping it works out.  I have lots of clothes to bring and need some too.

One of the hardest things is that I am so used to just going when ever I wanted and I cannot do that now.  It is hard to find someone I trust to watch him that can do the trach suctioning and etc.
Thanks again for all your prayers and hope to see you soon.

Love  Terry

Terry, it sounds like he is doing ever so much better by being at home with you!

I'm so glad to hear it.  Give him a kiss from all of us, and consider yourself hugged.

It will be good to see you if you are able to make it to the clothing exchange.

Love you!

Small steps lead to bigger ones.  I am so excited that there is any change at all.  We will take it as a victory and hope that it continues to build from there.  I have always thought that they didn't give him enough credit from the beginning.

I would love to come visit you both sometime.  I miss those big brown eyes and your strong spirit.  I need a Terry and Lyn fix!  LOL

I will try to call you soon.  Maybe we can work out a visit soon!

Huge hugs,

Tracy

Would love to have you come and visit.  I sure miss seeing people and getting out of the house.

When he moved his head around midnight Saturday night I couldn't help think of Easter and what a miracle it would be if Lyn would arise from the state he is in on Easter.  I still consider any little shred of movement a miracle though.

Please continue to keep us on your prayer list.

Let me know if you are ready for a visit.

Terry

I'm so happy for you. Remember tha first landing on the moon? ' One small step for man, one giant step for mankind.' These improvements may seem small to you and me but they are huge steps for Lyn. No one said his recovery was going to go quick, huh? I am so thrilled for him.

huggs...
