Good morning all.

It's Monday all ready.  The weekend flew by!  I hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend. I fixed dinner for Chaz and Ash and we played some games.  That was about the extent of it.  Other than an awesome church service, we didnt go out or do much anything.

I am going to the Work One office today to find out about getting help with financial assistance for more schooling.  I have no idea what else to do.  There really are no jobs to be had in this area.

I hope you all have a blessed day and a wonderful week!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Good Morning everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter.   The weekend flew by so fast, but working Saturday seems to do that for me.   Joe was on duty yesterday, so I took Trish  (DIL) and Ashley to my brother and SIL who were having a big get together for their families.  A couple of the families couldn't make it due to illness so their only ended up being two kids for the egg hunt.  We all had such a good time.

Tried to catch up on posts this morning.  Quite a lot going on and a bit of discord too.    I want to just add that even though I haven't met a lot of you in person I feel like I know you and look forward to what's going on in your lives.   And hope that I am free to share mine with you all.

I am going to try and make the clothing exchange.  I've not made one yet, and they sound like you all have so much fun.  I don't have a lot to bring, hope that's okay.  I just want the fellowship and to meet more of you.

Best get to work.  I thought I was caught up once a week ago but it didn't last.  May you all be blessed today, and have a safe and happy Monday.

Good Monday all,....

Tracy, I hope they can help you with schooling. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I know that would be such a blessing. It can only open doors for you.

I had a rough night last night. Before I was posting on here, my boys wanted to go to a movie. I didn't want to see it, but I also didn't want to be by myself at home. So, I dropped them off, and went to the Books A Million in Terre Haute, here. I got Chicken Soup for the Grieving Soul. Then I went to McDonalds to sit and read. That was when I had my fry fix for yesterday. Sigh. THen I went to Kmart to shop before picking up the guys. I got a bathing suit, but now I'm not sure I really like it. May take it back for a refund, unworn.

I decided today's a new day. I was at least encouraged by the scale today. I must have been retaining water yesterday. I was only 155 this morning. I went swimming for about 20 minutes at the Y. I intended to stay longer, but didn't have enough motivation. Atleast I tried. Then I went to the Coffee Cup restaurant and got breakfast. Cottage cheese with fruit ****tail. It's a new day, time to start anew. That's what Easter's about, right? No more french fries today. Linda Kay is right. They won't ease the pain in the long run, won't bring back Maggie. I'm scared of gaining. I remember the year after Lucy died, I ate everything that didn't run away first. I gained about 60 pounds that year. I need to stay healthy, though. Gaining back my weight is not an option.

Had a good Easter weekend! My son, his girlfriend and my grandson have been staying with us and may be moving in for awhile. My husband and I are trying to convince them to do so until they can find a better place to live. Also, my son is trying to get back to work. He works for the local insulators union and right now is layed off and has been for sometime. I love having them at the house even though it can be a struggle since they aren't the housekeepers I am. Still, whats important is that they be safe and taken care of and their apartment is not very good and they have BAD new neighbors that just moved it. The cleaning is something I can deal with.
I went to a Mary Kay party this weekend and though I don't wear a lot of makeup most days, I really thought a lot of the rep and she took me aside and said she thought I would make a good rep. I know it sounds like a sales approach and frankly it is but, Mary Kay is a religiously based company that is privately owned and operated and they have very high morals and not any outside commercialism. I like that and admire that and could use a part time job so, I am thinking about it. I thought perhaps I could recruit some customers on here if anyone needs a new Mary Kay rep. I haven't made my mind up yet but, I am seriously thinking about it.
Hope everyone has a great day and my prayers to Ellen and Linda and everyone else who is suffering a loss and the strength to just put one foot in front of the other. I pray daily for my new friends in this little group.
God Bless
Be Well  : )

Good Morning all. Hope everybody had a good weekend. Didnt really do much here. Just pretty much stayed home and did our own Easter thing here.

Linda you are a very strong person, you can do this and still stay away from the McDonanlds fries. I know its easy for us to say you can do but we all know you can. Eating for comfort had and really still is, so I know that is very hard in itself.  Keep your head up and think positive.  Ellen, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine how hard this weekend was for you, your family, and Linda and family.

Sherri I hope this trip to mayo gets some kind of answers. The answer to all your medical issues are way over due and I'm know you are ready for them to go away so you can enjoy life to its fullest.

Well as for me today, I'm getting ready to go back to bed and sleep this rainy day away since I'm suppose to go work tonight.  These are the best kind of days to sleep anyways lol.

Thought I would just throw this in here real quick, I know i dont post as much as I used to after my surgery, and some weeks I'm not even on as much as others, but I always like coming on here and hearing what everybody has to say the good, the bad, surgery related or not surgery related. I  always know that if I need advise on something that was going on with me that I could come here and you guys would try and help me out.

Well hope everybody has a great day. I'm off to bed.

This is a little thing but I thought I would mention it.  This is the first Easter that I have not eaten any candy or anything sweet.  I didn't miss it.  I didn't want it.  I feel good about that.  I am going to ride my bike (indoors since it is raining) today and be happy that I did not indulge.
