Ellen needs prayers....

I just recieved a phone call from Ellen. Quite frankly, I am still in utter shock from it. Ellen's grandson Nick...distraught over his aunt's death and his girlfriend breaking up with him...committed suicide yesterday in Ellen's home (where he lived). Ellen & Dana and others all came in to discover him. I believe Nick was 18. The services will be at the Lebanon Christian Church on Thursday from 3 to 8. The funeral services will be at the same place on Friday at 11.

Please keep Ellen and Dana in your prayers. Nick lived with them almost more than he did his parents so to Ellen and Dana, he was more like their son. Karen's death was hard on the family..but she was suffering from cancer and death brought her relief so her death was bittersweet. This death however is going to be just bitter.

OMG!  I can't believe this.  Poor Ellen.  Please let her know I'm praying for her and her family.  They are such good people.  I know her heart if just broken.

If you find the address to the funeral home, will you post it?  I'm off Friday for Good Friday and may try to get up there.

OMG Bitter is right!! The enemy just loves to kick us when we are down.. he finds a small nick in out armour and picks at it until we feel totally alone and unworthy.. Love and prayers going out to his family...

I looked in Yahoo's yellow pages and there was only one Lebanon Christian Church. It's on 610 W 250 North, Lebanon, 46052. It's pretty easy to get directions from there. I would imagine that taking 65N straight up to Lebanon would your quickest route though.

Bill has an eye appointment at 4:30. We'll be heading up there right after that.

I am so sorry for this difficult time you are going thru. My thoughhts and prayers are with you and your family and I know that God will carry your thru this. No words can express what you are going thru but know you are loved and so precious to all of us. I feel so bad that you all have this to go thru so soon after your other loss. News this sad just makes me speechless.... My heart breaks for Ellen and the whole family. I don't know what to say. I can only offer my prayers to the Lord to be close by this family and my prayers to Ellen and Dana and everyone affected by this great tragedy and loss. 18 is such a young age, there is so much to live for, so much to develop in life. How do we get through to these sad children when they even hide their sorrows deep inside and from us? My son went through something unspeakable and unthinkable when he was 16-17 yr old and he was on that verge. I still don't know how we got through it but, we did and each day is a blessing but, you just never know.

OMG - this leaves me speechless.  Suicide is such a selfish act.

Prayers going out to Ellen and her family as they deal with this latest, tragic loss.

My heart aches for Ellen and Dana.  I am so very sad for their family.  They have been thru so much lately.  My prayers are going up for them.
