Good morning all.

Today is kinda gloomy waking up to snow on everything.  But I am going to make the best of it.  I am going to look for job openings on the web.  It appears we are down to one car again for a while.  The Van has an issue again and not sure what but have to wait a couple weeks for funds to fix it.  OH well... life is interesting to say the least.  It's all good.

I am going to start looking for something new by Jim Cymbala to read.  He is the minister at the Brooklyn Tabernacle and he is an amazing motivational speaker and spiritual leader.  I loved his series on prayer.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.  I am going to make the best of it and hope for sunshine soon.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Hey all... how are you doing? I hope everyone's well. I actually got up early, and went to the Y. Got in 30 minutes of lap swimming before breakfast and work. Even ate myself a decent breakfast this morning (a scrambled egg, a couple bites of ham, and a piece of whole wheat toast), rather than the McGriddles I have been munching on.

Had kind of a scare this weekend that I need to be eating better. Woke up early Saturday morning for no good reason, so I decided to eat a piece of apple pie with cool whip, and went back to bed. That threw my blood sugar off, I think. When I got up later to the phone ringing, I was so dizzy, I barely made it to the phone. I was was holding onto the wall and just fell to the floor, because I couldn't keep my balance. Not good. So I'm getting back on the wagon.

Good morning all

I am at work this morning, I will be leaving at 1. got an appt with Dr Huse today, I will find out if we can move forward with the revision, I hope so.

Update on my brother, he was admitted to the hospital last night in the ICU because he was throwing up blood, come top find out he has a bleeding ulcer and they had to give him some blood last night because he had lost so much. I wish I could be in Wisconsia with him.  They did get him stable, and hopefully he will be home soon.

Thanks everyone for the prayers.

Guess I better get to work, will post later about my visit to Dr Huse.

Hugs

Hey all. It's Monday and it's snowing. I'm ready for spring!  I, too, am going to be job hunting today as I lost my job last week. Anyone in need of a good nurse? ;o) Please send prayers that I'll find something soon. I was off work for 4 weeks because of the TPN and now this. Just when you think things are going your way.

I am happy to announce that I am feeling much better, as far as the ulcer goes. I am eating again, and my weight loss has started again. I'm on my way to 60 pounds. It's funny to me how you have to eat to lose weight! I was stalled the entire time I was on the TPN and not eating. CRAZY!!

Oh well, hope everyone has a good week.

Sorry to hear you lost your job. Nurses are suffering from the economy as well. I am also a nurse. We nurse sister have to stick together. What kind of nursing do you do? I have always worked part time until this last year, I went full time We haven't noticed any big difference in our budget with the extra money. It must be that costs of everything has gone up. Good luck with your search. Wendy

Good Morning All,

Hi Tracy,  I hope the van isn’t anything that expensive because I know how much of a pain that is to have to sink a gob into your vehicle all at once. You have a wonderful day too.    Linda, that is scary but, you know, sometimes it takes something like that to get to us and make us realize that we are different now, since the WLS. Ice cream is what usually does it to me. I LOVE ice cream and now it isn’t very friendly to me. I notice I get those dizzies when I eat too much sugar. I love the Skinny Cow and Weigh****cher SF ice cream treats. You just take care of yourself   Peggy, I have my heart crossed for you with Dr. Huse. I had a friend once who said, don’t cross your fingers, cross your heart. And, my goodness your brother must have been scared! I hope he will come home soon. My husband has ulcers and has to take this real strong medicine.   Hey Pam,   Melissa, I am so sorry for your job loss. I work at a QIO and it seems like almost every week one or two people are getting let go. It’s real scary. The good thing is that you area nurse and that is a very needed field these days so, you will find something soon, I’m sure. Plus you are losing now and feeling so much better. I know losing weight gives me more strength. Good Luck to you.   Good morning Wendy!!

Me, I'm just here at work and have lots to do today. Yeah, it will keep me busy. I got my hair cut this weekend and thats a story in itself. Basically, the guy that cut it really messed it up and I had to go to someone else to fix it. So, I have my short haircut back now. I like it but, my husband likes my longer hair and I was trying to grow it some. Welp, not now (haha). Anyway, here it is snowing and I come in with my summer haircut! HA! Is it time to get my ear muffs out?  I want summer so badly. Ok, well patience is a virtue   Everyone have a great day!!
Be Well  : )
