Another Newbie !!!

Welcome! I have been a lurker for almost a year...and Tracy S. bribed me to get out here and post because I want to join her group...LOL! Teasing Tracy....but these people have been wonderful the last few days that I have been posting. I believe you and your wife were at the same pre op class as I was. I will be having my surgery on April 20th at St. Vincents also. My surgery is at 8 a.m., see you in the halls....maybe we can race....LOL! NOT!

Nice to meet you. Always good to add a brother to the family. We are heavy with sisters. LOL. I wouldn't trade any of them though. OH has been so good to me. And for me. I joined the summer before my RNY, and to tell you the truth, I get more out of the day-to-day-ness of OH, than I ever did out of the in person support groups. Hey, if you love the IRL support groups, don't get upset at me, but that's just my opinion. I never really felt part of the "group" there. I do here.

My husband and I missed last month's support group meeting due to all of our problems here at home but hopefully will meet you soon!!
You will learn a lot from the boards--always great with info as everyone is always willing to help out.
More from me later when we get Mother in Law home from hospital and I recover completely from my latest mishap!!
