Hello everyone
Becky,
It was good seeing you post. I'm sorry that you aren't having an easier time of it. Hopefully, you will soon. The first few months are usually the roughest for anyone...you tummy wants to me sure that is the case for you too, huh?
I hope you & E can make it to the clothing exchange on the 24th!

Well, I'm back from having my scope. I have an ulcer. So that explains the nausea all the time. I'm on 2 medicines and hopefully now, I can get past this. I don't like going to the hospital for everything that seems to be wrong, but I also don't like taking chances. St Vincent has been so good about calling me back when I needed them to and never making me feel like I'm a bother. I took some medicine before my meal and actually was able to eat without feeling sick.
Thank you for all your kind words and prayers.
God bless

Hi Becky,
The first 3 months are the toughest! Once you hit month 4 things should start smoothing out. Your tummy won't be quite as picky. You'll be able to eat a little more and that will allow you more taste and texture variations. I remember telling my friend that I couldn't wait until I could quit obsessing over everything I ate. I was tired of thinking about it and I was sure everyone around me was tired of hearing about it (I have to share!
). It will get better. I think for me, it was hard to remember that I was recovering from major surgery. For some reason, I always expect to feel better much faster than nature seems to think I should!
I hope you feel better soon, but be patient with yourself.
