This might be a silly question...

But, do you have alot more energy?  My initial thought was "duh, of course you would..." But then I thought if you had a vitamin deficiency, then maybe you weren't more energetic?

When my iron levels were real low, I lost alot of my energy, as I have started taking iron pills, I havve gotten it back.  Low vitamin levels sometimes can cause low energy levels.  I hope this helps.

The goal in taking the supplements and vitamins as we are instructed on our program is to keep from having any deficiency.  So far, so good.  I have lots more energy than I used to have.  I certainly have more endurance than before as well.  Things that used to make me totally exhausted don't even phase me now.  I am not up to running a marathon yet but I would love to build up to doing that!

I hope this answers your question.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

thats exactly what I want to do. I want to start running, but with the weight I am now, that just isn't happening.

My vitamin D is low, I take an extra D each day to try and get it back up.  However, I have so much energy most days its like I don't even recognize myself.  For instance two days in a row last week I worked a full day, I have a very physically demanding job working for McDonalds.  After work I came home and raked leaves for three hours and did my treadmill.  Before surgery I don't think I could have even done the McDonalds job much less anything after work.

My goal was to be able to run also.  I have always looked at people when they were jogging with such admiration.  I never thought that I could be one of "those" people but I am getting closer each day.  Last April I went to my girlfriends house and she had just purchased a treadmill, I couldn't do five minutes on it.  This April I can do three miles or better.   I am working my way towards a 15 minute mile, I am at 17.25 right now.  The first time I actually jogged on the treadmill for a full five minutes it was very emotional.  Just hang in there and each day do a little more than you did the day before and in no time you will be doing things that will amaze you.
