Lyn update

Thought I had better post something to let you all know how we are doing.

Things are going well here at home.  There has not been any progress yet as far as him coming out of this and there is still no movement but he is home and that means so much.

The therapist said yesterday that "You may think he hears you and knows you but sometimes the family interpets this because they want to believe it".  He then said you have to realize he is in a "persistent vegetive state".  I just hate that word and also hated patients referred to as "vegetables".  When I talk to him and care for him and look in those brown eyes he is still most definately my husband and will never be a "vegetable".

I got out some of the papers from the hospital and I see they have used that diagnosis on their papers also--persistent vegetive state.

I will admit this keeps me very busy but it is definately what I want and I know it is what he would want and I don't want it any other way.

It looks like there may be a slight, very slight improvement in the wound also.

To look at him you wouldn't think there was anything wrong.  But he just doesn't have that brain function or the ability to move.

Thanks for all of your continued prayers.  They are what is keeping us going.

God Bless,  Terry

Terry,  thanks for the update.  I am still praying and asking God to heal Lyn and let him come back to you completely.  I am sorry the medical specialists have "written him off" and are not willing to believe he will get better.  God is able to do anything and if Lyn is ever to come back... it is God that will be the one to do it.  So, dont lose faith.

Those big brown eyes are so beautiful.  I am so glad you can look into his eyes and see Lyn the way you always have.  He is lucky to have you there for him.

I am praying for you as well.  How are you doing with your weight loss?  Update us on you sometime soon!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

I hope I can be half the wife you are someday. What a loving relationship. No matter what medicine says you know when their soul is here and you can see it in those eyes. Don't let them tell you otherwise. Thinking of you often. Take care.

Keep the faith Terry.  I know it is better for both of you to have him there at home.  I think he knows you are there taking care of him.

Bless you honey.
