Friday Morning!

Good morning all.  Hope everyone is doing well today.  I have had a rough night last night, and my eyes are proving it.  We had a co-worker yesterday to be pronounced brain dead after she had a brain anureysum.  We are all in such a state of shock over this.  She was in her mid 40's and the funniest woman we knew! She had a heart of gold, and would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.  What a loss to her family, and to our family of dealers.  She was a sweetheart.
Hope everyone's weekend goes well.  So sorry to hear of Ellen's SIL, my prayers are going out to you.
Prayers for everyone else in need.  Take care and have a great weekend.

LaChelle...So sorry about your co-worker. Life is so precious and we never know when it may be all gone. That's kinda a reminder of why we need to treat those we care about as well as we can.

Good morning all...
We're off to take the suv to the dealer's. We're having luggage rack crossbars put on and a remote ignition added to the key fob. I think we're going to check on that multi-monitor 'gadget' for the temp, compass, etc. After we drop it off (they are giving us a loaner for the day), we're picking up the grandsons & taking them for a haircut and then lunch.

Taking a few minutes to post today.  Been super busy at work and my daughter is in the high school musical, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this weekend.  We've had late rehearsals all week.  It's been quite a week!  I'll be glad when the musical is over.  The kids are doing a fantastic job though and it's going to be an amazing show.  I took pictures at the dress rehearsal last night and will post them sometime on my page.  My weight gain over vacation is slowly coming off.  I've only got 2 more lbs until I'm back where I was before we left.  I'm hoping it's going to just keep going down.  I'm still disapointed about the gain but am glad it's going away quickly.  Maybe it was fluid.   Who knows?  I got a nice card in the mail yesterday from Tracy.  It made my day!  What a sweetie she is.  I'm so blessed to have her in my life along with all of my other OH angels.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Ellen, keeping you guys covered in prayer as you lay your loved one to rest.

Im on my way back to the hospital to be with Neil he has a couple of tests scheduled.
The nurse comes this afternoon to pack my 2 incision sites so fun.

Not much happening for me today. I have to go get some labs drawn this morning but I was up super late and drank at bout 2 so I figured if I can hold out til 10 I'll be fine. :) I'm uber tired, trying to ween down off of needing my sleep meds because they're not working as well because I am needing it daily. My doctor said if I go without sleep for a few days that it'll be uncomfortable but eventually I'll get wore out enough to sleep. He did say if I absolutely have to to take the medication but to take the lowest dose, if it doesn't work go head and increase it to the amount I'm taking now daily and if that doesn't work I can bump it up a lil bit too so hopefully we can get me sleeping regularly. Today should be a good day though, Rich and I are spending the day together since he had to work yesterday (it was our anniversary).

Anyways not much going on with me, I'm super hyper which I'm not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing, we'll see.

Sorry Lachelle about your friend.. They say the good always die young and the mean ole farts live forever...But dieing and seeing Jesus is a much better thought than what will happen to the mean ole fart...

I get off work at 11 home by 12 because there is always somehting neeeded to buy after work then up watching tv to unwind..... then someone calls and wakes me up in the morning like "what an I still doing in bed.".. sigh... well I am up now!!

morning all.

I am home now.  They released me at somewhere between 6 and 7 this morning.  It was an infection causing the pain, and a slight blockage as well as........(drum roll)   dehydration.  I know there are others with far worse complications after surgery than mine.  This is all due to the fact that I just dont absorb enough fluids.  I have been reading about the reasons RNYers have this issue at times.  They say that the part of the intestines we get bypassed is also responsible for absorbing fluids.  So it is most difficult for some of us to get enough fluids even when we drink the amount we are supposed to drink.  I am going to see if I can force in an additional 20 oz. a day and see if that helps. 

I am gonna be fine.  It's just a hassle more than a complication.
