Ellen's sil Karen

I talked with Ellen ~1:15. Karen continues to hold on..barely. Please continue to keep Dana & Ellen and all of their extended family in your thoughts & prayers. It's stressful enough to lose a loved one..but to wait and wonder each time they close their eyes if this is the last time they'll have them open or not...very hard on family. Ellen is close to this sil and Dana is very close to his baby sister.

I'll let you all know if Ellen calls me with another update.

The waiting and wondering, plus the fear of the unknown is agonizing.  My grandfather had apnea for his last 36 hours.  The compassionate side of me wanting him to stop trying so hard and the selfish side wanted him to breath. Its one of the hardest things I have had to do in this lifetime.  I pray for Karen and her family.

Sherri, Thank You for keeping us updated. I have watched My Mother & Sister pass and it is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Dear Ellen, you & your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Jana

Thanks Sherri for letting us all know what's going on. Ellen and her family have been in my prayers and thoughts a lot lately, especially since Karen and I share the same type of cancer. Cervical. Yesterday was my annual checkup to see if I was still in remission/cured...... and all I could think about was the hundreds of women, like Karen, that don't survive cervical cancer. My heart feels for her .... and right now my words are to small to address just how impacted I am by her declined and Dana and Ellen's breaking hearts.

Blessings

Thanks Sherri. Ellen and Dana and their family are in my prayers.  I know how hard it is to sit around and basically wait. When my ex's father died, I was there with him and his brothers the night before he passed and as they all stood around and talked I sat and silently send prayers to Charlie. I am now glad that I did have that opportunity to be there before the end. He knew I loved him and it was such a difficult time.
God Bless to all
Be Well  : )
