Good morning all!

Back at work. Ugh! Darn credit cards! LOL!

Bill & I did a little running after work last night. We went into Wal-Mart and was looking for frisbee's (for Lotus). We walked around in the sporting department and boy did that make me wish for summer! All of that wonderful camping gear! I ended up just getting me a doggie toy out of the pets department. He's red and it says on his chest 'Isn't it time for a walk yet?'. I thought that was so cute. I have it here at work to remind me to take regular walks and get up & away from this desk. By the time we got home, got things put away, and I took my bedtime meds, it was 9. I can't lay down for 30 minutes after I take that antibiotic so I fell asleep in my chair. Guess how wide awake I am today!

I heard from Scott yesterday. He may have a stricture & has to have an endo on Thursday.

The last texts I got from Ellen, Karen (her SIL) wasn't doing well at all. Today is Karen'ts birthday...the day she had targeted as her goal to live long enough for. All of the stress is hard on Ellen so please keep Ellen in your prayers.

You all have a good day today!

Morning Sherri and all,

Just checking in while I have a huge print job printing.  Life is so busy, both at work and home.  My administrative co-worker left for another position, so now I'm doing two jobs instead of one.

Our house remodeling planning is keeping us very busy too.  Our windows are installed and are so nice.  What a good move that was.  Today we're ordering our new blinds, since the new windows are wider and the old blinds wouldn't work.  Our windows are covered with blankets and sheets in the meantime, so this purchase just couldn't wait.  Now I want to paint the house before the blinds get installed.  Last night we met with a kitchen designer at Lowe's and the new kitchen is going to be beautiful.  You'll want to come to Brenda's Pampered Chef party just to see the new kitchen (it should be done by then).  Tonight we have a guy coming over to give us an estimate on the new fence.  Tomorrow is Support Group and Thursday we're having AT&T
U-Verse installed.  I'm tired just thinking about our schedule.

Today I've started the 5-day Pouch Test again.  It worked so well when we did it with Robin and Shanna, that I thought I'd try it again.

Well, I need to get busy.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Floyd. Good luck with the pouch test. I started it on Sunday and so far I have modified it a little. Company was over for supper last night & I caved and had a bite of mashed potatoes so it looked like I was eating with them. Jana

Good morning all. I am up and at'em this morning.......got my party to finish up for this evening.  I will be posting a thread for any information about it, just in case anyone is interested in Tastefully Simple goodies!
Hope everyone has a great day.  I just am so blessed to have a wonderful family and friends.  Yesterday, our anniversary, we spent the evening at home just spending time together as a family.  Then, later on last night, a couple of our dear friends came over and we played an exciting board game called "Settlers of Catan"  I am hooked on this game! It is so much fun! If you have never heard of it, just check it out online.
I also got lucky yesterday.  I belong to Freecycle here, and had posted about a stationary bicycle for our neighbor.  I went to pick it up for him, the person I was getting it from asked me if I could use an eliptical machine also!  FREE!!!! You bet I grabbed it! It is a top of the line machine, with the electric "gears" and stabilizers!  It is in excellent condition, and she even gave the owners manual with it! I am so excited! What a great anniversary present to myself!
Well, off and running now, so have a great day! Talk to you all later!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Morning all

I am at work this morning, I am really tired, had trouble sleeping last night.  I was working on homework and before I knew it was after 11 so I tried to go to bed, and tossed and turn, I was up at 1 and 2-3 other times before my alarm clock went off.  I was afraid to take the sleeping pills my doctor gave me because it was so late and I knew I had to come into work today.

Today is Ashley's 15th birthday and we got out of the house a little early this morning so we could hit the starbucks, I got her hooked on the decaf, nonfat s/f caramel and the white chocolate mocha.  We had her a small party over the weekend and I am taking her to Moose's Country Candles after work, she said that she wanted a candle called Monket Farts, this candle shop is awesome, they have just about scent you can think of and if they do not have it they will make it for you.  I may have to get me somemore sweet snow lotion.

Well it is 8 and I guess I better get busy, since we can only work in the computer sysyem until 10 for month end, I hate closed out numbers, sometimes I wonder why I ever went into accounting.  LOL.

Everyone have a wonderful day.

Hugs

Morning All!!
Boy Sherri you sure get up and out early. So they doggie toy was for you? hehe  Hey, it sounds inspirational. I might need me one of those that says, "Get off your duff and pound the pavement". I'm not much of a walker but, will make an effort once the weather gets better. I long for summer too. My prayers go to Ellen and her SIL Karen.
Floyd, I was thinking about follow that 5 day program again also. It sure helped me out. I felt energetic and great that week. I am toddling right above one of my goals and just can't seem to get there. I am eating steel cut oatmeal this morning for breakfast so thats a good start. I am finding it easier to just grab and go eat again and that is getting me back into bad habits. I'm not gaining but, not losing now either.  Good Luck with it. I may jump on the band wagon tomorrow morning.
Lachelle!!!  What a great deal you got. That almost never happens and did I hear you right? you got a machine for your neighbor? That was sweet of you. and... Happy Anniversary (a little late). I just can't do those eliptical machines. I feel like I will accidentally do the splits (which I can not do) and cause myself injury LOL!  So, walking will be good for me. I just need to do it. I love to bike also and need to force myself to get out and ride it. I am just so tired after I get home from work that I only want to lay around.
Morning Peggy, tell Ashley HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  My baby just turned 15 this month. Wow how the time flies. And ok, what is a monket fart? I know I shouldn't ask but only a 15 year old would want a fart candle. HAHA!
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. I am very happy to announce that I finally got my PICC line out yesterday, thanks to my family doctor. It feels great not to be hooked to medical equipment anymore. My weight loss has started again (I was stalled the entire time I was on the TPN) and I passed 50 pounds loss yesterday. That was a mile stone I've been waiting for, so it gave me a renewed excitement in my surgical process. The baby has speech therapy today and then I'm gonna take the boys to do something fun. We're trying to encompass something fun to do everyday during spring break.

Have a great day everyone!
