I'm so sad that I can't come because I work nights on the weekends and sleep all day on Saturday. Have fun everyone!

Sounds Great!!  Can't wait to be able to come to one. I have some really nice things I want to bring. So glad that someone will get some use out of them. What happens with the clothes left over after the exchange. Are they donated somewhere?
Thanks
Be Well  : )

Johnna,

We donate anything left over to Robin's church. They have a day (either once a month or every 3 months..I don't remember which) that they have all the tables piled with clothes for the low/no income people to come and get some decent clothes. For some, it's the only way they can get clothes nice enough for a job or interview.

Robin's church also has a food pantry to help those in need so if you have any non-perishable items in your cabinet that you have been wondering why in the world you bought it, bring it/them along.

Come Hell or High water, my friend Maria and I will both be there.  We may both have to just call in from work that day, if they won't give us the day off with our PTO, but we will be there! We both have tons of clothes to bring! And, since she is only 1 month out (and down 42 pounds already) She is really going to be needing clothes again soon.

Thanks again for posting and hosting the event! Can't wait to see everyone!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

MY Pastor and his family are going on a mission trip to Gautamala (sp) in July.. they are collecting gently used childrens shoes for what is called  Happy Feet.  IF anyone has any gently used childrens shoes they would like to donate to this worthy cause please bring them with MY name on the sack.

The idea is to put shoes on everyone in the mountain country..and childrens shoes are badly needed.

Thanks'
