Vitamins and protein drinks
Hi Ayreka, I love your name by the way!
Early out, I took three flintstone chewable vitamins each day. Starting in the morning with breakfast. I took them about one hour a part. They have to be kept about 3 hours apart from your calcium so I chose to do my calcium in the late afternoon and evenings. I still do it this way.
Protein early out I did the shakes mostly. I did do some of the protein bullets too but not until a little later in my journey. I found that mixing the punch flavored protein bullet was good with my juicy juice grape. I put half of it in an 8 oz glass of juice.
You will have to play around with finding a good protein you can tolerate after surgery. Your tastes will change and your pouch may not like some types. Experiment and find what works for you. Don't buy a bunch of any one kind until you see if you can handle it AFTER surgery. Your tastes will change sometimes on a daily basis.
Hope this helps.
Huge hugs,
Tracy
