Headache from Hell

This has not been a good day for me!  I just woke up after having slept nearly all day long.

I woke up with a horrendous headache.  Being the fool that I am, I took a tylenol, got a shower, and got ready for work.  I get all the way to Crawfordsville Rd on 465 - only 1 more exit to go - the headache kicks into ultra high gear, so I exit there, turn around and go home.

It was bad enough that I actually took some of my leftover toxic waste (liquid Lortab).  It still hurts, but not quite as bad.  Yeow....  I've slept all day, now I'm wide awake.  Hopefully, the headache will be gone completely by morning - I don't want to miss another day of work. 

Needless to say, I am behind on my fluids, protein, etc.  I'll catch up tomorrow!

Sweetie i hope your headache goes away could it be from the problem with your eyes?
As stupid as it sounds when i get a headache i up my water and take aleve and a wet cold rag and lay down.
For some reason the cold rag or ice pack helps.

I do know what you mean about toxic waste.. BUT I have found over the last 4  years .. If I put my dose of Liquid loratab in a medicine cup then fill it the rest of the way up with cranberry juice it is actually drinkable.. I used to chase it with white grape juice but found the cranberry juice soooo much more bareable..

So sorry about the headache from hell... been there done that... thank GOD I grew out of them. My chiropractor is also a BIG help when I cant get rid of a headache.. Hope it is better

Wow - great idea!  I always have diet Cran-grape juice in the house.  Thanks!  (But here's hoping I never have to take that stuff again.... LOL) 

Headache has ease up this morning, so I'm going to get ready to go to work.  I'm just nauseous.  Yuk...  

Christie I feel for ya, I had the very same headache last night.  After getting a good nights sleep and some tylenol I feel  a lil better thank goodness.  I know mine is mostly stress related, but also I can tell I have a bit of a sinus thing going on so probably after the services today I will try to get some benadryl and tylenol and rest.  Back to work tomorrow so no time to be sick.  I was scheduled off yesterday so I have only had to miss two days.  Do you ever have sinus problems?  Things are starting to green up....good things and bad things.

Chris,  Somedays the ONLY thing that will help my headaches is a foot rub or accupressure. I have a friend in Columbus who is a massage therapist and she has saved my sanity more times than I can count. Please try this some time. The accupressure really helps soothe what is really hurting. And the foot rub is a tension melter.  Can't hurt to try it??
