I have some news!!!

Welp, 

I just got off the phone with Pekin (my insurance company) and Tammy @ Pekin told me "this is off the record, but it appears that they are going to approve your surgery and I will ask them to fax a determination to your provider today"!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate to get excited before I have it in writing,
but WOW!!! That's sooooooooo kewl!!!!
I''m doin' the "happy dance"  right now!!!!

Soooooo...now, I wait! ...not so patiently 'tho!!!

What's next for me ppl????

Pam!!!!  I am so excited for you!  Do you realize a month from now you could be on the loser's bench!!!!  It only took 2 weeks for a pre-op testing date and my surgery date was 2 weeks later, the pre-op class was the week between.  So it is a whirlwind once you actually get the approval.  It will be over before you know it!

It was great seeing you again last night!  Thanks for coming!

I really enjoy the support meetings.

It's so nice to hear from other WLS patients and I love to get the good laughs too!!! It is alot of fun, just to hang out w. peers that can understand the struggles you go thru on a daily basis.

I spoke with the insurance company AGAIN and the reviewer said that a supervisor had to sign it and it would take a couple of days to get the letter out to me...
I WANT IT NOW!!!

Congrats!!! I know after you hear that the days can't came quick enough. I still have 50 days till my surgery date and it has been hard waiting because I have little patience. Hope to see your date soon!
