Add 3 more to the Loser's Bench.

I saw Lisa Hutchison, Kathy Martis, and Alta Hardgrove today at St. V's.
Lisa is in quite a bit of pain in her back,  but not the surgery site but still got up and walked today.  What a trooper.  She is in room 265

Alta looked really good and had been up walking.  She is in room 274.  We had a long chat.  She's had hardly no pain meds at all.  She wanted me to tell Jami Coy that she is doing fine and that all 3 of us have the same surgery and same Dr.  I look forward to chatting with you, Jami.

Kathy is doing great too.  She's in room 249.  She's been up walking too but none of them have run into each other in the hall yet.  It was really great to meet all 3 of these new post-op's.

Each room I went into wanted to know how the other OH gals were doing.  That's what so great about this board and the people you meet on here.  I need to go back down Thursday morning so I will go back up and see how they're doing again.

Thanks for the updates Kathy and for going to see them all. I'm sure it meant the world to them, as it meant to me to have OH family visit in the hospital! Look forward to cheering these 3 new losers on. I would love to make it up to the hospital before they all get discharged, will try really hard!

Kathy thanks so much for being sweet enough to check on the ladies and post for us.  Gail was able to come see me when I had my surgery and I will always be greatful.  I was so scared and in way more pain than I had expected so seeing someone who had been there and done that was a great comfort.  Your such a doll and a great asset to our OH family.

Yes, thanks for the updates.  I wanted to get up there and see them all too.  However, I am not sure that will be possible.  So, it's great that you posted for us!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

I'm so happy for you  that you are healing so well from your recent surgery.  I bet you can't believe your eyes when you look in the mirror.  The healing process may take a while but the results are so worth the wait.

Big hugs,
Kat
