Happy Monday
My prayers are with everyone that has special needs. I don't want to leave anyone out so I don't want to post anyone's names but my prayers and hugs go out for you.
Sherri, I hope you hear something positive tomarrow and this treatment is going to help you.
I haven't been following my own advice very well lately. I'm usually very upbeat and draw my strength from God when things happen I don't understand. But I'm human like the rest of you. My dad has had several tests now on his kidney problems and his cysts. There is an 80-85% chance that it is cancer. His other kidney has a blockage also. I'm trying to be optimistic. I'm the only daughter and I'll always be "daddy's little girl". Dad and I are very close. My brother is there now and I'll be going home sometime in the next week and I'll be there as long as they need me there.
To complicate things more, last night I started to get a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen, right around my waist line. It's not constant. It comes and goes. I'm not having trouble eating or drinking or keeping food down but I will be in Ohio soon and not anywhere near my bariatric Dr. and I don't trust strange Dr. 's with my health care. So I think I'm going to put a call in to the nurse this afternoon. I'm not one to sound alarms but I do listen to my body. What do you think???
Hugs,
Kathy

Good Afternoon all, I'm so late with my "Hello's" for the day. I sometimes don't have much time to post in the a.m.
But, I wanted to say,
and welcome to Trudi and Dawn. GOOD LUCK!! It will all be over soon and you will be ready to start feeling better.
Sherri... poor lil guy! I have a grandson and it would hurt me soooo if he were sick. All my prayers to the little guy.
I hope everyone else is having a good day and if it's not well, tomorrow will be here before you know it.
I had a visit from my friend Kim today and she wanted me to walk but, I had my dress shoes on so, tomorrow I will bring my tennies to work. This is part of the process of changing from that slug to a butterfly (or as it was in my case). Keeping up our maintenance and keeping active.
Thanks Kim, you may have very well kept me from eating something bad for lunch. This way I came back and had my protien and feel better. Now if I can just get over this stinkin head cold and sinus crap!

Hello~
Hope it's not too late for today's thread.
Just thought I would get here for a few minutes and attempt to get caught up. Whew! So many new people with surgeries soon. I'm sure everyone will do great though!
Since the weather has been nicer, I have been really making an effort to get outside in the fresh air and sunshine. We took a really long walk over the weekend and I know I probably overdid it, but I'm hoping it will soon reflect on the scale.
Sherri~glad to hear you are finally getting some relief. Let's hope this works once and for all!
Jeannie~so sorry about your grandfather. I know it's hard. We'll pray that his passing is a peaceful one.
Great to meet so many of you all last weekend! Wish there were many more hours in the day!
Not much going on with me, just work work work! One of these days I'm hoping I'll get into a groove. Take care all!
Hope it's not too late for today's thread.
