Welcome Dawn and Trudi!  I know you are anxious and nervous, we all were.  Good wishes going out for your surgeries to go without a hitch.

Morning all. I am up early just like always........even if I don't have to be.  Oh well. At least I am not running late in getting the girls up for school! LOL They are so glad to be on Spring Break! I am too for them. They deserve it. They both work hard at school, so they need some fun too.
Today I have an audition at work.  We are getting a new game in, Baccarat, which I already know how to deal.  I just have to prove to them that I do know the game well enough to deal it, and not have to take the 5 WEEKS of classes over! I am so glad that I know the game very well, and just have to deal it for a few minutes for them to see. I love that game, so I am hoping to get to deal it all the time! Sounds crazy to most of my co-workers, because most of them don't care for it. That just makes it better for me then!
Today is hopefully going to be beautiful.  We will be getting things planned out as to where we will be going for our little getaway.  I am letting the girls do the final say, since it technically is their break.  Who knows, we may wind up camping in our back yard! LOL Only time will tell!

Good Monday all! I'm up and showered and dressed and it's only 8:30, man I'm on a roll! Seems like the last few weeks I've spent hooked to my TPN, sitting around in my PJ's most of the day. I'm feeling so much better. I have phone calls in to the dietician to see about getting off the TPN and am waiting for Dr. E's office to open as I have questions for them too. My 2 year old is still asleep and I'm taking full advantage of it to get some house cleaning done. Seems like my red headed tornado messes up everything I try to clean, go figure!

Good Morning Everyone,

Today is the start of my liquid diet, for surgery tomorrow.  Dr. Huse called today to answer some of my questions, although I could have waited until tomorrow.  I am so looking forward to getting it over with. 

I am not nervous yet, because God has given me a much needed peace within.  I know that everything is going to be just fine.  While I know this surgery is no picnic, I know that I will get through it.

I have met three young ladies here on the Message Board that are also going to surgery tomorrow, two of them with me at St. V's.  I have said my prayers for them as well, and we will all do great.

Prepare to slide over on the loser's bench, four of us will be sitting on it with you tomorrow.

For some reason my body aches, especially my knees and  foot.  My knees are saying "girl, you better get some of that weight off of us, or else". My knees are angry.

I need to be able to walk those laps around the nurse's station. 

I did so much walking on Saturday, I know I over did it because I had the gout flare up the prior weekend and was on crutches all week.  I had so much to do to prepare for surgery I had to keeping going.

Well,  keep us in your prayers for tomorrow.  Can never have too much prayer.

Lisa, your knees and the rest of your body are in for a wonderful change! There is plenty of room on the losers bench, you an even sit on my lap if it gets too full!   I will keep you all in my prayers and look forward to hearing from you all about your experience. Walk and sip!!

Lisa,  I know everything is going to be just fine for your surgery tomorrow.   You have placed yourself in the Lord's hands, no better place to be.  Prayers for a successful surgery going up and hugs coming your way.

I got up and clean up house alittle i have no drains or staples but it is still alittle sore.
Sherri i hope these pills work for you and im sorry the baby is sick they look so pitiful when they are sick  we will keep him in our prayers.
Jules you will have to keeep the girls busy while your son is gone,hope he has a safe trip.
Melissa your red headed tornado is adorable.
Jeannie im so sorry about your grandpal and your familys in our prayers.
To the newbies having surgery good luck and  youll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Good morning to all

I have not posted in a few days, I am in still not beleiving my sister is gone.  We had a small service for her on Saturday.  With her being creamated, then her body was not shown.  We had a picture of her and my Mom (whiched passed  3 years ago) sitting beside her Urn, and the beautiful poem that Lois posted for me.  Thank Lois;

I am exhausted, I drove to Bowling Green KY on Thursday to pick my daughter and grandbabies up and drove right back, been in Indy everyday and then yesterday drove back to take them home and drove back, my SIL went with me this to help drive.

I am taking this week off, got alot of thing that I need to get done, my brother and SIL is in from Wisconsia and they will be here until Wednesday.  They will be attending support group with me tomorrow night in Marion, he is a success story, he had his surgery little over 2 years ago and he has lost over 200 lbs.

I am going to try to get some housework done and homework, don't know if I will be able to concertrate on homework, but I have to do something to keep me busy.
