Sunday morning!

Good morning everyone!

Yes, I slept in again. We had another late night up though. For such a lazy day yesterday, we had a busy evening. First, we went to Brenda & Floyd's church for a fundraiser. By the amount of people there & the number of raffle tickets in the barrel, I'd say it was a huge success!

Next, we went to Methodist. Our youngest grandson Rodney Jr was admitted yesterday. He has a pretty bad respritory infection. They were doing breathing treatments every 2 hours and said it was a pretty strong med they were using in it. Mamaw & Papaw tried to occupy his mind so we could let Mommy & Daddy go get something to eat. He was fine until they did a treatment. Then, no one would do but Mommy! I thought he'd calm down once the treatment was done but no..he waits until he hears me talking to his daddy on the phone and knows they are on their way. He was all smiles by the time they walked in his room. Little stinker.

I'm still measuring my tummy to see if there's an improvement. Let's just say that I am causiously optimistic at this point.

Nothing is planned for today. Not saying we won't do anything...just nothing is planned at this time. We're good at impromptu!

Thanks so much for attending our church fundraiser.  Sorry it was so packed that I couldn't even sit and enjoy your company.  This was the 5th year and the biggest.  Shortly after you left, they ran out of chili and salad.  They went through 450 bowls of chili.  Today they announced that they raised $3300.  Last year it was only $2000.  Unfortunately none of us won the tv or anything as far as that goes.  A friend from work that bought a ticket from me won a CD.  Thanks again for your support.

I'm glad it was such a huge success. I guess next year, they'll need to get a bigger pot for the chili, huh?
