I'm on what I hope will be my last day on redoing the kids' house.   It is so good to be finished.  I'm beat.

Long day yesterday, no sleep last night...Darrell snored and the dog whined all night.

Tonight I should sleep no matter what.

Good morning!

I plan on staying at home and vegging out. I know. I should be out enjoying the sunshine but I'm just worn out. Stuff is unpacked & washed, Lotus is home (thank you Brenda & Floyd for taking such good care of our girl!!), groceries are bought. It's time for Sherri to relax!

Pill Update:
My appetite is still decreased (yay). I've lost 3 lbs since we'd left (another big yay!). My stomach only grew 2" yesterday. I'm not ready to say yay over that yet because that varies from day to day anyway. My bm's have had no improvements. Today, I am going to try to do without the anti-spasm med and the pain med and see what happens. It's day 3 on the pills.

Time to go start my vegging...

Good morning everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well.  I am still here, just dont get to get on here very often anymore. I am kind of at a stand still on my weight (I think) I am down to about 118 now. Makes my total weight loss 152 #. Way more then I wanted to lose, but maybe if I have the rebound weight gain that they talk about, I will get back to where I want to be.  I put a new picture of my family this past Christmas on my profile.
I am working EMS today until 2, then probably going to the grocery and relaxing.  Hopefully, I get warm today. I am so tired of being cold. Winter can go away and stay away. You guys warned me that I would not be liking the winter and snow and I have to say you are right.
I am playing on a softball league this spring and I cannot wait.  We had practice last Sun. and it was great to be able to get out there like I used to when I was a kid.  I felt like a kid again.  I told my daughter, I wished I would have done this surgery a long time ago.  I am loving life now, its just awesome!
So, anyone out there contemplating it.......well it is very much well worth it.

Sherry, what is up with this pill you are talking about? Is this something you got from Mayo's?

I miss all of you guys and wish I could chat with you more. Maybe one of these days I will get a computer at home and then I can.

Yes, Mayo is trying me on a pill to see if it's an issue with me not getting enough pancreatic enzymes at the right time to help with digestion. I should see anoticeable difference by Tuesday if that is it. If that works. they are then recommending that Dr. Gupta gets my abdominal wall closed back up. If it isn't it...and if the tests that the ran came back ok, then they'll have to come up with another game plan and we'll have to make another trip up there.

Good morning all!

My plans for today are to find something to wear to this wedding.  I am going to Winchester to my nephew's wedding this evening.  I am excited because there will be family there that hasn't seen me since before my surgery.  I also have some high school friends that will be there who haven't seen me in a few years.  It should be fun!  Tyler and Kelli are going  along so it will be good to "show off" my babies too.

It was brought to my attention that at the bowlathon I didn't introduce my kids to some of you.  They were bowling and I was socializing.  I dont do that often.  (wink, wink)  So, if you look at the pictures,  Tyler is the one in the Freeney Colts jersey with blonde hair.   Kel had on a black hoodie and has red hair.  I promise to be a better Mom and introduce them to everyone next time.  I was just to excited to see everyone and to win my tattoo I guess.  LOL

So, time to get busy finding something to wear to this wedding.  I will catch up to you later!

Neil and i are going with his older sister this afternoon to a place called frontgate they have an outlet store and she got us a freestanding fireplace.
Then they own a resturaunt so they want us to have lunch with them.
Its sad but its took 17 years and 230 pounds for them to finally except me in the family and now i dont care anymore but for Neil i will play nice.
Then this evening Liza is bringing the new baby by to visit i love that.
The painting is all done in the basement teusday they lay the last of the carpet.yeehaw

Morning all. Just getting ready to go to work, so I wanted to say hello.
Kinda depressed today......it was 11 years ago we buried my father, yet it still seems like yesterday.  I miss him so much.  I know he is better off, and in a much better place, so that makes it easier each day.  It is always a rough time today, but I will overcome, and move on.

Hi all,... I'm up and dressed now. I have either been sleeping too much, or not enough. No happy medium. I feel so empty today. I just want it to be one month ago, and to not have left on that trip that morning.

I am thankful I got my little dog, Cookie, back after the accident. She is a comfort to me. She's sleeping on the bed next to me right now.

I slept away my evening last night after the good drugs from my endoscopy. I'm ready to be on with my life and hope and pray that things will start getting better now that we know it's a 10mm ulcer causing my issues. I ate a little shredded wheat this am and am going to make myself something really good for lunch, just don't know what yet! ;o)
