Any Lap-Bands out there?
Thanks for the encouragement! One year sounds really good to me. Choicing to go slower and not altering my insides is comfortable to me. I don't want this to be a short term change and the idea of being a bag of skin is not very appealing either. I know I will be wrinkly but I would trade mobility, gracefulness, and energy over my current lifestyle. (hope my ticker shows :-)

Hey Mandy,
Thanks for the response. Hope all is going well with you. How hard is it to adjust to the new lifestyle with the band in place? I had a glitch so they haven't sent my paperwork in yet, needed 5 years of doctor supervised weight documentation which is being faxed over today!
I am excited but a little scared too. During the last 6 months I have changed my eating and lost 34 lbs but I still get to eat as much as I like of the foods allowed. Concerned about adjusting to the amount, do you feel full? Thanx again, L
