I'm back...

We safely got back last night.

I started taking the pills yesterday morning with breakfast. I'm not really noticing a difference yet except my appetite has gone down. I don't know if that's because of all my body has been though this week or because food is finally being digested and gving me the 'I'm full' notice. The pills are about the size of an asprin so they aren't bad to take. I still hope I don't have to do them the rest of my life. Especially since the insurance will only cover 10 days worth at a time (my copay is $30 each time!). I have no desire to have to run to the drug store that often.

I think my body was trying to play catch-up today. It was about midnight when we got to bed. I woke up ~8, took my synroid and other meds and laid back down. I didn't wake up until 11:30! And still..I feel like I could lay right back down!

We came home to our furnace/humidifier system not working right. It's 73 in here. That's chilly for me! Bill called the service guy for it. Brenda left a message on my cell phone saying that she keeps a busy signal on the hose phone so that's another thing on Bill's honey do list. He may grumble about that kind of stuff but he's not fooling me. He loves being able to get things fixed.

Anyway, it is still good to be home. Now it's time to throw some clothes on and go pick up our baby..Lotus (our dog).

Thank you all for your prayers. I hope these pills work so that Dr. Gupta can get me fixed up. If that isn't the cause, lets hope that the cause pops up in the testing that they did this week.

Home sweet home!

Welcome home sweetie
Glad you had a safe trip and i hope those pills are magic and do the job.
When i was on insulin the insurance would pay for more than the normal if the perscript was writtenn the right way.
Maybe your pharmacy can help you out so you dont have to make that many trips.
Glad your back.

Sherri,
I am so glad you are home! Girl, 73 is HOT to me- you really like your "steamroom" don't ya!!!!-You know what I mean you "streaker"-hahahahaha.
I hope the pills work- anything is better than having to continually have tests done & the "what is going on"-right???!!! You are such a trooper, girl.I sure hope that it is the answer so you can get all finished with the tummy- and live your life!!!!
Yikes, seems like if it isn't one thing it is another, huh? Yep, those "honey do" lists are getting bigger here- for us both!

I'm glad your home!!  I hope this takes care of things for you. You have been through so much it sounds like. I know I'm still new and not informed about everyone and everything but, I am here for you anyway and my prayers are with you always friend. I bet you do have some jet-lag. Heck 73 is hot for me too. LOL !!  I do notice though that these days I can tolerate heat a bit better.

I better your baby was sooooooo glad to see you. Everynight I come home to my two girls (my bulldog and my golden retriever) they act like I have been gone forever, they are so happy to see me. Dog's are such sweet pets because they give you unconditional love. Much different than some people. But, not those on this board
Be Well  : )

I have a pekingnese. Aren't they the best. We have other dogs too, but Charlie, the pek, thinks he is the one and only. I am so glad my dogs allow me to live in their house! lol Wendy

Can you order the pills through the mail.? You usually get alot more for the money. I would check with your insurance company. I am glad that it will be no more surgery at least for now. You have been through enough! Jana
