Monday...

Good morning all...

Okay..bags are all packed other than my comb & bru****hink our stuff is about ready to go as I could get it. Tiffany will be here in ~an hour and then we'll head to the airport. Our plane takes off at 9 this morning.

How is this for God's timing: I woke to an email from a friend of mine. Actually, we dated many, many years ago. I was 15 and he was 19..and in ministry school. Yep, I could had turned out to be a minister's wife. He had found me after all of these years on Classmates.com about 2 years ago. I hadn't heard from him in 6 months or more. I got an email from him this morning wanting to know how my health is. I can't help but to believe that God prompted that email.

Safe travels Sherri.  You'll be on my mind today.  I pray that Mayo diagnoses the problem right away, and that it is an "easy" fix!

We'll celebrate upon your return.  Hope you had a nice time at dinner last night.  Sorry we couldn't go - the situation with my parents and my husband's parents was takng precedence last night.

Have a safe and uneventful flight today, Sherri. Keep us posted as to how things are going at Mayo. I pray they are able to resolve this issue soon!

I am finally going to get to the dentist this morning! I am so excited! Hopefully this will be an easy fix, and not anything major like a root canal or worse! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Good morning all!

I woke up this morning with a huge smile on my face.  I had the most wonderful weekend.  The time with Gail was great for me.  We had so much 'girl' time just talking and we shared a wonderful walk in the sunshine around the campus.   The small gathering at the house Saturday night was great!  And then to top it off with yesterday's event!!!!  Wow I am just so blessed!

I am trying to decide exactly where I want my new tattoo.  Yep, that's right girls!!!!  I won the tattoo and I am more excited and scared about having it done than I was about my surgery!  LOL  Shanna was just sure she was gonna win it!   Jeannie said we could make it a "girls night out" and you could all go with me when I have it done.  A tattoo party of sorts!!!  Woohoo!

Today will be life back to normal... if normal is even in my vocabulary.

Sherri and Bill I have both of you in my prayers and thoughts, have a safe travel, and hopefully the doctor's at Mayo will find out what is wrong with you Sherri and get you back to us soon.  I am glad my family could join you last night for dinner, that topped off a wonderful day.

I want to thank Dawn again for hosting the bowling event yesterday, we had a blast.  We were all so tired last night, that I had trouble falling asleep. 

Kathy I really enough having you join us on the ride to and from Indy, you are wonderful.

Lachelle I am glad that you are able to get into the dentist today, I know that teeth problems are very painful.  I will keep you in my prayers that it will be an easy fix.

Everyone have a wonderful day, I am meeting with NightingGale Hospice tonight for my interview.  I am wanting to volunteer some time to help others, and I feel this is what God is wanting me to do.  We are meeting at Starbucks (woooooooohoooooooooo) my favorite coffee shop.  Decaf, nonfat, S/F Carmel  Latti here I come.  I can taste it now.  LOL.

Morning all...hard time getting moving this am. I am exhausted from this weekend! Oh to be 20 yrs younger! We went to Cretwood Sat for a KY get together and did not get to bed until 3 Sunday morning and then back up at 9 to get ready to head to Indy. My sisters visit made us late for Maggie's event...but we did eventually get there and what a blast I had. I got to meet alot more people and re-visit with everyone. Everytime I see everyone they have so many changes that have taken place that it takes nme a minute to realize who everyone is!  I was so happy that Dawn organized this event and that it was such a success! 
Sherri...Godspeed girl! You got a hell of a group cheering you on!

Well...off to go to the store and work today.......

I'm so sorry that I missed yesterday's event. I looked at Tracy's pictures and the baloon release looks like it was so sweet. That is always a lovely gesture.

My DH and I went with my daughter the Indpls to watch a Indiana Ice home game. It was at the Pepsi Coleseum and we had a blast yelling and screaming for the home team. What fun! I have never been to a hockey game before and my goodness those guys get vicious. But, no one was hurt. Especially me since a puck came flying over and just missed my head to land on the floor behind me. One of the Girl Scout moms picked it up and asked what to do with it. My husband said put it in your pocket, you just got a souvenier. LOL

All in all we had a very busy weekend which was why I could come. Dawn, I never heard from you but, I assume you got the basket ok? I know you were probably just too busy getting things ready. I just wanted to make sure you got it.

I had a good time was all ready to go but i think the ride got to me so it slowed me way down.
Neil didnt realize til half the way home when he stopped to get a pepsi that he had left his atm card in the machine.dang
Just so he had one in his wallett that needed to be activated im like excuse me call usaa and make sure no purchases have been made since 2 and thank goodness there hadnt it was payweekend.
We had fun and i love you all so much and Dawn you are an organizer.

Hey everyone.  Kind of late in the day, but just got a chance to get on.  Had such a great time visiting with everyone yesterday.  I called off workl this morning, just couldn't get going.  Was only working a half day anyway.  had a doctors appt. 

Sherri,  You are in God's hands, He'll take care of you.  We just pray for God's wisdom and guidance for the doctors to discover the problem and get it taken care of.

Christie, Shana, Tracy, Christine, Kathy, it was really good to meet you face to face.  Gail great to see you again.  Ellen, as usual had a wonderful visit with you and could talk forever time just gets away from us when we're together.
