Missed the Bowling Fundraiser

I am so disappointed I could not attend the fundraiser today.  I started having pains in my right foot and did not realize I was in the begining of a gout attach.  Boy does that hurt.  I had my doc call in a script for Colchicine.  I started it immediately but it is still painful.  I have to go to work tomorrow to get things ready for my Leave of Absence on 3/23.

I was bummed I could not attend to meet everyone.  I really wanted to support Linda and her family and fellowship with everyone.

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves...I am so wanting to know how it turned out.

Can someone update me?

Thanks,

Lisa

Wondered where you were Lisa - several of us were looking for you.

The bowling outing was wonderful!  We had raffles, a 50/50 drawing, good food, photos, and a balloon release in honor of Maggie.  It was great.

I even behaved myself.  Kinda.  Well, as best I can.  Sorta.  LOL  Dawn will probably never let me near a microphone again.

Hope we get to meet soon!

Lisa .......I'm so sorry that you weren't able to make it. A co-worker has gout and I know how painful it is for him.

I was priveleged to be a part of a group of folks that are so loving and caring. I continue to pray for each of their strength, peace and health.

Ditto to what Christie said about the get together for Linda and family. I so always enjoy seeing everyone and meeting or getting to know someone new....like Kathy. Girl you look amazing...8 years out and you ROCK!!!

I had not bowled in several (hhhmmmm) many years and it was fun. Floyd not too mnay people beat Tracy when he bowls...you R da man!

I do look forward to meeting you soon Lisa.

Antonette,

I so wanted to be there to be a part of a truly special event.  I know it had to be a wonderful display of affection and an outpouring of love for Linda and family.  We all want to see them heal.

I am cursing this right foot...I wanted to attend and had planned to do so.  Now I have to make sure I can get to work tomorrow and wrap things up before my surgery.

I am getting pre-surgical jitters and I know being around the group would have taken my mind off of my surgery for awhile.

Hope to meet you real soon, thanks for looking for me.

Lisa

Lisa I am sorry your having a flare up with your gout, my dad suffers from gout so I know it can be quite miserable.  We did miss you at bowling but we certainly understand.  You will have many other opportunities to get together with the IN OH'ers.  It should be getting pretty close to time for another clothing exchange.  Those are also very well attended events.
