Saturday Morning

Oh my goodness, it’s Saturday already.  Where does the time go?  I know with working six days a week, it seems to fly, and as I get older and older, it really seems to whiz by. 

 

I didn’t get everything done I wanted to yesterday.  My DIL’s friend who has been in the hospital wanted us to come and visit her and play dominoes.  She has a lot of health issues.  I think a lot of it is the physical abuse she suffered from her adopted mother when she was growing up.  She has told me a bit of what she has gone through and it’s hard to believe anyone would intentionally hurt a child, let alone your child, and adopted at that.  But I must say her spirit is so sweet and she is such a positive person and has forgiven her mother for all the hurts. 

 

Today would have been my anniversary if my husband had lived.  He’s been gone three and a half years now.  Sometimes it seems like just yesterday and others like it’s been so long I can hardly remember his voice.  Guess it comes with the territory. 

 

Going to try and close some cases today.  I have quite a few accounts to check and make sure payments were made correctly.  My plan is to be out of here by 2:00.  I need to get some housework done and laundry finished since I won’t be home tomorrow.  Between church and the bowlathon my day will be pretty well filled up.

Good morning all!

We are off to a great weekend.  Yesterday was a whirlwind.  I was on the go from sun up to bedtime.  Gail and I had alot of fun with Kim yesterday.  These girls are a hoot.  Reese has decided that Gail is his new buddy and she kinda likes him too.  (She is threatening to take him home with her!)

We are hoping for sunshine and warm temps today so we can go walk the bike trail.  Other than that, we will just see what kind trouble...ummmm i mean FUN ... we can get into.

Good morning all. Another long day at work today, I am afraid.  We have been busy, so that is always a good thing.  It just sucks to have to be at work when I am in such excruciating pain still.  I just can't wait until Monday to get in to see the dentist!  Keep your fingers crossed!
Hope everyone has a great weekend.  I wish I could go to the bowlathon tomorrow, but work just doesn't allow it!  Maybe some other time I will be able to get up there.
When will the next clothing exchange be?  I am needing to know now, so I can put it on my calendar and hopefully get the day off.  If anyone knows, just please pass the info on to me.  Maria will be attending the next one with me.  She already has a couple of totes of clothes ready to go! She has lost 33 pounds already since surgery, so she is ready to get rid of these extras!  And I have a huge tote of clothes ready to go myself.  Between the two of us, We could surely fill 2 or 3 tables ourselves! LOL
Time to get a move on it.  The girls will be home in a little while from the sleepover last night.  They were having so much fun when I got home from work last night.  They both walked back over here and gave me goodnight hugs and kisses, and then they were off and running again!  We could hear the giggles and laughter and the music for hours afterward! They will sleep good tonight, I am sure, since they probably didn't sleep much at all last night!

Good morning everyone!

Well..I got most of my packing done yesterday. Bill washed up what was dirty so I'll be able to choose from those clothing too. It's hard to choose. You use to get to bring 2 suitcases but now it is only one. It's hard to fit too many sweaters into one suitcase! hehe..and definately have to watch how many pairs of shoes! Ah well, we'll get through it. Now to just keep the butterflies down!

I had so much fun texting with my girlfriends yesterday that it was a wonder that I got anything done! LOL! Bill told me that I  'deserve a day of having fun'. Isn't he sweet??

Good Morning.....up and at em for about an hour now thanks to Braedyn! He is definitely on a schedule and does not understand Saturdays are for sleeping in so grandma got up and played blocks and trucks this am for awhile. I have to go to the grocery still so I can bake today for tonight and tomorrow!  decided to make the same thing for both places to make it easier!  We will be at a bonfire/chili get together with alot of gals from the KY board and then the bowling event for Linda's family tomorrow!  Aubrey's friend is coming over to stay with her while we are gone. He is a city officer but off tonight so he is "babysitting" her and Braedyn and the house. Sad I have to do it, but the judge advised that I keep taking precautions for my own peace of mind even though the law is already watching for me. They have the makes and models and tag numbers for the person harrassing me and are watching for them.  God its good to live in a small town and know everyone    I spoke with my attorney yesterday and he is already looking into all the legal avenues I can take. I advised him yesterday that this situation is no better and that this stalker is not getting the message through words so its time to step things up a notch.  I am hoping to get some time in the am to go target shooting though in the am. Gotta keep brushed up on things and the weather is suppose to be in the 50's today! Aubrey is going Sunday......she loves it! She is hoping to get to go on a hunt this fall so she wants to show up the guys

I am up and off to the paper goods store! I decided I NEEDED some things that I talked myself out of before, so I am going back! LOL, I should have just did it to begin with- oh well! When will I ever learn, heheh!!!???

I am so excited for tomorrow to be here!! The time has flown by, though! I hope taht as many of you are coming that had originally requested! I know that there have been a few cancellations, I am sorry that you are going to missit! I do understand, though!

Just about finsihed up with things! Have a few more last minute details to finish up- but all is good!

I am tired again this morning. I went to get my B12 shot today though, so maybe that will help this fatigue. I am looking forward to seeing you folks tomorrow. It will be a nice distraction from being at home.

Hi all! Guess what...the new laptop is here and its gorgous!  So fats and so new and a 16.9 size screen. It has the keypad on the side just like a reg keyboard and Vista premium and a 4gb....FFFAASSTTT!

Yesterday was busy. Took the kiddos to eye doc. Tyler ended up regetting glasses. He had them when he was way younger but kind of grew out of his astigmastism. He has been complaining about heaches, so I took him back. Yep time to get them again. We went to Ossip, that what Our insurance covers. Reaaly nice! For the exam and testing and converse glasses and poly lens and a warranty 120.00! What a deal. We have eyemed ins. Thank Goodness. I have my appointment next week. i am looking into contacts. I dont know if I can do them or not. But I am so sick of my glasses getting gooped up at work....flying Ice cream/ fogging up and steaming up.we shall see.
I ma counting down the hours til tommorrow. I ordered the meat tray from walmart and will make the muffins tommorrow. I have a Pampered Chef basket for the drawing that Joanna Donated! So bring lots of $$$$ to bid on these goodies. LOL
Bella and Terry are in Ohio. his mom needed him over there last night but they will be back today. Bella is supposed to have a sleepover with Rebecca.i have to work at 4. So Ineed to get some things done today. Yesterday we had our new garage door put in and IT works! We had it match our house not just boring white! its been about 2 years since my garage dooe has worked.
Well Venus ( my Cat) is wanting petted so I should give her some lovin' Or food whatever. LOL

Hi Everyone,
 We are up and ready to go to SIL house.Yesturday was a very difficult day.My SIl decided to call all the family in and express her wishes to go to Hospice Hospital. When the nurse got there, she told her she  could go in for 5 days respite. She is so worn out & tired. She is unable to do anything now, and they told her it wouldn't be long. If she hasn't passed by then, they will have to decide whether to take her home or to nursing home, until she progresses farther.  I just was broken hearted for all of them. My DH is really hurting as this is his baby sis and they have always been close. The Lord has given her time to talk things out, and she is so at peace. She has never really been one to express her emotions much, (like DH) and just poured out her heart to them all. I am starting to cry again, so I will stop.
  I hope to still make it tomorrow, for the Bowlathon.I want to see all of my extended family, & wish Sherri well. Julie, I will call you later, ok????
