Happy Friday
It's about lunchtime...I didn't wear a jacket today and it's kinda cold, but I'm gonna try to get my walk in anyway. I have to break this stall, it's driving me NUTS! I've been walking about every day for the past week and a half. It's gotta start showing soon!
I've been very busy in my business, which is a good thing because my husband's business has been very slow. People just don't clean their carpets in the wintertime! It's starting to pick up a little now, plus as it gets warmer more people will call. I hope!
Just talked to my daughter about her bridesmaids' dresses - we're looking for a seamstress to do them. One of her bridesmaids is very large and I doubt that we will be able to find something off the rack for her, so we picked out a pattern and will be having them made. I don't want to embarrass her by not being able to find anything in a store for her, I certainly know how that feels. Emily was very conscious of her feelings when picking out a pattern - nothing with a bare back, halter style, revealing, anything like that. They will be beautiful!
Well, got lots of work to do when I get back from my walk. As chilly as it is, I will be walking very fast!!
Have a great day, everyone!
Jenny
Sorry my font was so tiny on my last 2 posts. Don't know what happened. I get bad headaches trying to read the little fonts. Anywho....
I want to congratulate everyone that has surgery dates coming up. There's been quite a few. Also there's been lots of prayer requests. My prayers are with all of you that have special needs.
I will be calling you, Peggy about going to the Bowling event on Sunday. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. I will warn all of you right now that I have a very bad memory. Can't remember names and putting your names with the faces on this board will be tough because so many of you have changed, I'm sure, because you are all big losers! But the most important thing is the reason for the event and I'm looking forward to meeting Linda and her family. I hope if I don't find you that you will try to find me and say hello, ok? I'm normally not a shy person ....I really know how to party and mingle with the best of them....but I feel like the new kid on the block even though I'm far from being a newbie.
Sounds silly, huh.
It doesn't matter how far out I am from surgery, I still appreciate and am very grateful to have bariatric friends and receive their support and fresh, new idea's that have helped them on their weight loss journey regardless of what phase of the journey they are in. We all learn from each other.
hugs,
Kathy
