Happy Friday
Happy Friday everyone!
I’m always early to work but got here a bit earlier today. Only working till 10:00, then off to run errands, try to get by and visit with
Things at work still hectic. I have a feeling though that someone is trying to set me up. I’ve found quite a few problems in doing this project I am on, mainly because of the way it was done before with no checks and balances. I think the person who was in charge of it prior isn’t happy about it because it puts them in a bad light. Came in this morning and there was paperwork on my desk with a note that it had been brought to my supervisor’s attention that someone was overpaid. Yup, they were, and I called it to their attention a couple of weeks ago and initiated a collection for the overpayment. I really hope I’m wrong and it’s just a misunderstanding.
Talked to my sister yesterday. The surgeon still hasn’t scheduled her re-mastectomy. I guess insurance is the holdup. I guess they don’t want to pay twice for the same procedure. My take is they need to collect from the first doctor who botched it up. She really wants to get this done and get it behind her. She was telling me about her youngest son. He is something else. He’s taken it upon himself to learn Chinese on-line because he thinks it will be important when he’s an adult. He’s 12! Kids sure have changed since my son was growing up.
I hope you all have a good day. Prayers going out for those having health issues. Terry, Lyn, Sherri, Leah, and others, you are all on the prayer list in the church bulletin. We can never have too many people praying for us. Look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.
Julie
Hope everyone has a good weekend. The girls have a birthday party sleep-over this evening with the girl that lives just down the hill from us. They are so excited! It's the girl's 11th birthday, so you all can just imagine what 10 girls in that age group are going to be into! LOL Glad it isn't MY house, lol. Of course with us being so close, I may see them when I come home from work tonight!
Take care everyone. Have a great and safe day and weekend.
You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!
Busy here today at work, I am hoping to get alot done. I hate those days that you are so busy but do not seem to get anything done. I am really tired this morning, had class last night and it was after midnight before I got to bed.
I spoke with Kathy from Kokomo yesterday, and she was telling me that her Dad had some unexpected medical issues arise and was taken to the ER. Her parents are close to 80 and live in Ohio. She is not sure if she will be able to make it Sunday or if she will be traveling back home. If we all could say a prayer for her parents and her.
It is time to start my day off, so I guess I better get to work. Hope everyone has a wonderful freaky Friday.
Hugs
Peggy

Sooooooo glad that it is Friday. I have a busy weekend planned. I am going to St. Louis and meeting with an old friend and her family. I haven't seen her since my surgery so I am anxious about that. She is scheduled for RNY on 3/17/09. I am so excited for her.

Linda: I will be thinking of you and your family. Hope Mikey is recovering quickly.
Hope you all have a Happy Friday and a safe, exciting weekend.
I haven't been on much the past few days, so trying to take a few minutes to catch up. I am really looking forward to Sunday. Welcome to the newbies, post-opts, & new friends on here.
My SIl isn't doing too well. She rallied this past weekend, & decided she wouldn't take all of the meds. they were giving her, since she wants to be alert ,talk to everyone & do things for herself while she can. Yerturday, they told her her body is shutting down & it will be 1-2 weeks. She is so ready to go home to the Lord, but wants to spend every moment she can with her family, too. Sandy, their oldest sis is here from N.Carolina visiting. My DH is taking it pretty good, he loves her & spends all the time with her/them he can.
Got to take care of the twins today then off for the weekend- which is jam-packed.I will see you all this weekend at the bowlathon!
Sending up prayers for all those suffering, in need, and dealing with family issues.Sherri- only 4 more days, hang in there -I'm keeping you in my prayers. Glad to hear Terry & Lyn are doing ok. Kathy, praying for your Dad & family.

Hello all. How are you doing? I am at work today. I have been like a slug all morning though. I just want to be at home, in bed. I had a hard time with dreams again last night. I don't remember all the details clearly, but I kept being in danger and scared and couldn't get safe. It's been three weeks now, and it's still not real feeling to me. It's not going to get any easier for a while either. In fact, from experience, it's going to get harder, as the shock wears off, before it starts getting easier at all.
I will be happy to see you all Sunday. Just to warn you, Mikey can't bowl because of the weight, he wanted to come though. I told him if it's like any bowling alley I've ever been to, it will have pool tables or arcade games he can play on. So, Mike and Mikey will probably be hanging out doing those types of activities. He's looking forward to that.
Yep! I slept in! Yay! We didn't go to bed until later so my body doesn't think it was sleeping in by much. We are pretty much just spending the day here at home, trying to get things ready to go. I have packing to do and some paperwork to complete.
I talked with Donna, Mayo's nurse, yesterday. On Tuesday, I'll be having a consult with the doctor so he can physically examine my tummy. Then, it's bloodwork being drawn. Unless he changes his mind, that's it for Tuesday. On Wednesday, an endoscopy is scheduled. He is going to take some biopsies and aspirate some of the liquid out of the small intestines to check for bacteria content. That is suppose to take 6 hours. That's it for now. They'll be coming up with a further game plan after they look over the records I'm bringing with me & have a chance to examine me. I really don't think it's a bacteria thing. The doctors here had already tried about a dozen different drugs..just in case. But..they were checking the blood & the stool, not aspirating the actual contents while it was still inside the small intestine.
Dawn...I'll call you afterwhile. We didn't get home until late last night. One word: Jay. I'll explain when we talk.
huggs to you all!
