Busy day...need a coat?

Well...its been a very busy morning. Went to the vet to see our cat...they have her off IV and are waiting fo rher to eat and do her business before they will release her! Dale is calmer today since he saw her...thank goodness! Went and got the insurance on my "new for me" van. i love this van! Then off to have coffee with a friend who is having a teenager crisis! Lord...don't we all huh! Then to meet Lachelle for lunch and a long overdue talk!  It was great to sit and visit and get to talk out alot of things. I am glad we were able to do this and get the air cleared.  Please convey thanks to Mariah if you read this and let her know I will go through that stuff tonight. Still jealous of the cookbooks...lol...great find! I will get with you on meeting up again next week to bring you Mariah's goodies...hope I can find some for her as well!  Well...gotta go and finish going through my closet! Hope everyone has a great day!   Oh.....does anyone know of anyone that can use a winter coat? i know its after the season...almost but I would love that someone get it that really needs it. It is a size 32 but fits like a 34-36. Its long with a hood and buttons up. I love this coat and man is it warm...but just too too big! Let me know and I can bring it up with me on Sunday! Thanks!

Yes, it was so wonderful to sit and visit! We really needed this "Girl Time" for us to get everything straightened out! Thanks goodness we did too!
You can borrow those cookbooks anytime you want! Jimmy just looked at them, and of course he just rolled his eyes at me! LOL
I will pass the message on to Maria.  She will be so glad to know that someone else will be getting much needed use out of them as well.  She hasn't even gone thru all the clothes that had been donated to them right after the house fire, so I am sure she will have much more after they finally get moved back into a home which hopefully will be soon.
We will make plans soon to meet next week to exchange more goodies and have a "gab-fest"  I can't wait!
Glad the "baby" is better, and Dale isn't freaking out over her anymore. My Mariah freaked out when we took her kitten, Bowser, to the vet for neutering and declawing.  She cried that morning, and I had to take her to the vets office to see him that afternoon after school, just so she would know that he was just fine, and that she would get to have him come home the next morning!  At least she will be released soon.

You might want to throw the coat in your van and bring it along on Sunday. If no OH'ers ask for it, it would probably fit my step-daughter good.

I'm a sucker for cookbooks too. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm just adding to my collection though..lol!

I'm glad you gals were able to talk things out. We all need buddies close by!

Cookbooks i get them then never fixed anything out of them lol.
My mom collects angels and they are everywhere even in the bathroom,i took an easier route cook books.
