Back from Week-end in Bloomington/Connersville
Hi Everyone,
I'm home after seeing a fantastic traveling Broadway stage production of "Mama Mia!" at IU Bloomington. Glad we were there on Saturday and not Sunday when all the tornado's and bad weather hit down in southern IN.
Staying at Judy's in Connersville was also a blast. She had RNY by Dr. Huse and has lost 100#, 1/2 way to her goal. We stayed up every night till after 2 AM talking girl talk and sharing weight loss stories. I'm not a comic like so many of the rest of you so I don't know how to say this in a funny way but we did have fun going in the bedroom and having a show and tell time. I showed her my VBGB open incision line, my tummy tuck, belly button, the thin scars I have now, my upper arm PS, and my new twin girls and how nicely the incision lines have healed. In fact, we had trouble finding them. Here I am lifting up my boobs and we are both really looking them over VERY closely
If someone would have seen us, they would have thought we were kinky.
But I had these PS back in 2001 and 2002. This is wonderful testiment to Dr. Chris Jones and the intricate, delicate work and very small stitches that he uses.
It was so hilarious because my twin girls don't do show and tells very often obviously and it even surprised me that we had to go hunting for the incision lines.
But how cool is that?
I also showed her my upper thighs that I've had no PS on. I have lots of hanging skin on them. My knee's look large partly because I have osteoarthrisis and need both knee's replaced so I think they look fat. My calves are also not in proportion with the rest of my body, they are fatter. I've talked to Dr. Chris about more PS but don't think I want to go that route.
I'm not striving to have a perfect looking body. And it does cost lots of money. They can't do anything about the fat below the knee's. I feel so blessed to have accomplished what I have thus far. I am happy with who I am and where I am. God has been very good to me. I'm happy right now passing on blessings that have been given to me.
I love all the beautiful hills and woody area's of southern Indiana. We went through Nashville and I think I saw a sign for New Palestine on Route 70, Lisa. It is very flat in Kokomo.
hugs,
Kathy
