Has anyone tried the sweetner Truvia?  Just curious if it is something that "we" can tolerate.   I have found that if I use too much Splenda and haven't eaten, my blood sugar drops just as if I had eaten sugar.  I think that I will send an e-mail to the St. V's dieticians and see what they have to say.
Just curious.

Kim,

I would bet that would be the case no matter which sugar substitute you use. It just goes to show that you can get too much of even a good thing. While we may not be getting 'sugar', we are getting 'sugar alcohols' so we still have to watch how much we have at one setting.

Hi sweety, good to see you posting on here. I had a  sample packet- just like Stevia, only not as expensive. I would check with our Nut. though.I know Stevia is allowed.
Hope all is well with you.
