Well, it is official, Mariah has strep throat. She got up this morning with a very high fever, so I took her directly to the drs office. He gave her medicine and checked her out. She will miss school for a couple days. He wanted to give her a shot, but she didn't want any part of it. Oh well, just please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. It is so hard dealing with a sick child.

You have my sympathy. Both of mine were sick with a stomach bug last week. Rebecca had me up from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am one night! That definitely gets old fast. She had stomach cramps so bad she was crying and begging me to make it stop. It just broke my heart because all I could do was hold her.

I hope your daughter feels better soon. At least with strep, they can give them antibiotics and they usually kick in within 24 hours. I'll keep you both in my thoughts.
