Bummed

Well, I called the surgeon's office today because every time I try to eat/drink I get abdominal pains. This is new since I began the TPN. But I haven't eaten/drank anything in a long time. I described it all to the nurse, told her what I've tried to eat. She spoke with Dr. Evanson who wants to do another CT to make sure all is o****il then, he wants me to just back off on eating for now. I'm hungry.  But on the other hand, I feel like crap after I try to eat. I think he'd be happy with my maintaining on the TPN and not bothering to eat for a while. Too bad I'm not happy with that. If this CT is ok, I think I'll be asking for a second opinion.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time.  I hope you get some answers soon.

Melissa, I am sending ya a hug!  I dont blame you for wanting another opinion if they dont figure it out this time.  Keep after them.
