Good morning friends. I'm pretty worn out. I slept 6 hours, but with lots of dreams. Weird ones too, because I fell asleep with the tv on and was apparently listening to informercials. In my dream, I discovered a conspiracy with the sleep numbers bed company, and they were trying  to kill me because of it. Weird, right?

Today I'm working a full day. First time in two weeks. I hope I can do it, and actually get something done.

Were they trying to change your sleep number on you? Too wierd, but I can understand, because I have those wild dreams every so often while listening to infomercials.  Guess they even want to see you wierd stuff in your sleep.  Have a great day knowing that the conspiracy was only the Sleep Number bed, and didn't include the "Slap Chop" and the "ShamWOW!" too!

Another Monday morning.  I'm so tired and I have a 3 hour meeting this morning on Communications Strategy.  Sounds so exciting.  Maybe I can catch up on some sleep during that.  My boss is on vacation today so it should be pretty quiet.

This weekend I went to Camp Te****eh for a Men's Retreat.  It was the most inspirational time I've ever had.  My head is still in the clouds.

Yesterday Sherri and Bill brought Lotus over to meet CJ.  They seem to get along quite well.  Lotus wanted to play, but CJ wasn't too sure.  They'll be fine together while Sherri is gone.

Well, I better get some work done since I have this long meeting today.  Hope everyone has a great week.

Good morning everyone....

Well...I've been here at work since 5, but boy, could I use a nap! I must have slept TOO good Saturday night because I could not stay asleep last night at all. Thanks to Lunesta, I fell asleep.. but was up about every 2 hours. hopefully, I'll do better tonight.

I'm suppose to meet a couple of old co-workers for lunch today. We're meeting at the Greek Islands on Meridian. I've only been there once and loved the food & atmosphere. We (Jenny, Edda & I) try to get together about every 3-4 months and it is always so good to catch up on what their kids are doing now. they grow up so fast! Jenny's oldest I think is in the service. Shoot...I remember his Jr. High band concerts! My tummy has been swelling up earlier & earlier during the day so today will be the biggest they've ever seen it. Good thing they know I'm not pregnant, huh?

We had so much fun at Brenda & Floyd's yesterday. They are such wonderful host(ess)! It was hilarious watching the two dogs. Lotus thoroughly enjoyed puppy playdate...but was so exhausted when we got home. Bill took her out and she was still wound up some so she wanted to stay out for awhile (which usually only happens at 2 am!). When they came in though, she pretty much went straight to bed! LOL! CJ may wind up losing a few pounds while Lotus is there...not from running & playing with her...but running to avoid her! LOL! I think that it won't take long either for them to work out a happy agreement to get along. They didn't snap or growl at each other so that was good. CJ just didn't understand Lotus' facination with 'fetch' and Lotus didn't understand why CJ didn't want to play with that squeeky toy! LOL! We have an appointment for Lotus to get a bath & nails clipped today after work. She ought to be real sassy after that!

no one would ever want their doggie to stay here with my rotten crew....plus no room in the bed..LMAO....3 is it. a neighbor dog laid claim to us and she comes to visit for days at a time and she is a great dane....she takes up 3/4 of our sofa...I just love her...and would take her in a heart beat..but does she shed....worse than our rott mix and way worse than our ****ers ever did..anyway this great dane will come and bark at our door demanding to be let in and it may be 2 or 3 am......lol and gotta give her a treat too....she does not care she woke you up...and i am such a whimp i always let her in..

Good morning all.

I am kind of excited about today.  I am going over to the Y to get my membership started.  It's so great to know that I will be able to work on these last 29 lbs with a great facility like that.  It's brand new and really nice.  It's also a bonus that my support group meetings are there.  

I have always been a swimmer and love the new lap pool that they have which is separate from the kids pool and exercise pool.   I will swim myself silly!  LOL  But first I have to come up with a swimsuit.  UGH!  I know it wont be as horrible as years past but I still dread having to spend alot of money on one.  Wish me luck! 

I am preparing for the Wabash meeting tomorrow night and making some calls today for people who have said they want to go.  It should be fun.

I am glad Lotus and CJ are gonna get along.  I know it will be a relief to Bill and Sherri to know that she is in such good hands while they are gone.  That is one less worry to carry along with you to Mayo.  Floyd and Brenda are so very sweet and I am sure CJ is going to be just as gracious of a host once he adjusts to Lotus. 

I will be spending some time with Kim today.  We are planning to go grocery shopping this morning.  I know, should we really both be allowed in the same store at the same time for that long?!!!   We had to sign a waiver of good behavior and promise to announce it over the loud speaker that we were in the building!    Just kidding!

Happy Monday to all

I am work getting ready to get my work day started.  Nothing much exciting here today, busy as always. Think I will work through my lunch and leave at 4, so I can get my nails done and get the YMCA in before it gets really late and I will be up for hours trying to relax enough to go to sleep. 

 Glad to hear that Lotus and CJ got along great yesterday.  floyd take advantage of the meeting and take a nap.  I beleive that is why they created them.  LOL.

Well it is 8 and time to get to grind stone, hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Linda, I was on Ambien for a short time.  It could be the side effects of the Ambien and you will get past it soon.  I know exactly what you mean though.  I had to learn to turn the volume to mute or put the TV on sleep timer to shut off.  I dont like sleeping with the TV on any more at all.  Those freaky used car sales men at 2 am made my dreams too scary!  Then throw in some of the freaky singles hotline people and a slice and dicer ... Friday the 13th and Halloween had nothing on that could scare me as much!  LOL    Why couldnt they just advertise the Ab Lounge and some gym equipment to make us workout in our sleep?!!!!

Let us know how your day went....maybe the best for you to get back, but if not do not feel bad about it...i know with ed the dr said take 2 weeks off and then try to get back to normal as possible....darn those number beds...lol...

I will start taking that stop smoking pill and they say that gives you vivid dreams as well...maybe bob seger will be in them...oh yeah ..i know i will be having some huge fun with him...LMAO...how bad am i?
