I am a newbie

Hello everyone on the board! I am just doing my first post and have been lurking around for a few weeks. I finally decided to post because I see how all of you are so friendly and nice! I hope to post regularly from now on. I want to say that my heart break for Linda V. and her family and Terry and Lyn! What they have all been through no one should ever have to go through. Please know that you are in my prayers! I hope everyone has a good weekend! Again thanks for being so nice and helpful! Remember I can do anything through the Lord who strenghtens me!AMEN!

Welcome to our board!  Where are  you from?  We have great people all over the state.  I am sure someone would be happy to meet you for lunch some time or just meet to say hello.

Are you thinking of having WLS or have you had it.  If so who was your surgerion? We like to get to know all newbies.  Like Tracy said we are meeting next Sunday in Indy, hope you can make it.

What surgery did you have, are you from Indy? Who was your surgeon? Hope to get to know you better!

We are a great group and you definately are open to joining us on sunday for the bowl for Maggie, what a great social that would be for you- a chance to meet very many of our OH board! We have over 130 people scheduled to attend, and most are from our OH family/board!

Keep posting, post some pics so we can put a face to your name! The next clothing exchange will be coming soon, yet another great social event for our OH family/friends! Join in on the FUN! Hugz Dawn

I want to thank you all for the BIG welcome! I have had a RNY in another state and I have a friend that is also a lurker here in Indiana that told me about the board. She is still a lurker and does not want to post yet. I have been trying to talk her into posting but she is a chicken. LOL! Where is everyone meeting on Sunday? Oh it is the bowling thing for Linda V's daughters memory! I am so sorry that I won't be able to attend. It sounds like alot of fun but I have to work and Indy is just too far away for me to come for just a couple of hours. I would love to send Linda my condolences. If you could please tell her that I am so sorry about her loss I would appreciate it.
 I hope to post often and get to know everyone better. Thank you all again for the warm welcome!

Ponygirl, welcome to the boards and out of lurkdom. This group has been such a source of inspiration and support to me during my pre/post surgical time. I have made some awesome friends (some of whom I've met in person and some I haven't). I hope you continue to feel comfortable enough to post questions/comments as much as you can. It's a great group of people!!

Welcome out of your...err..one day of lurkdom...? You said you've been lurking for awhile but your membership didn't start until yesterday. You must have been a busy, busy girl to be able to catch up on all the lives of those on here so quickly. Lisa's been on here for a little while...and not as a lurker...but she had even forgotten about the bowling Sunday for Maggie.

So tell me....
How long exactly have you been lurking?
If more than yesterday, what was/were your screen name(s) that you had signed on with before Ponygirl? Hmmm..use the same font and color for each?
Where are you from..a new resident of the Bloomington area, perhaps?
Or...are you working in the Muncie area...still?
