Is it normal?

Okay I got my surgery date  but I have already been waiting almost two years and I was fine with waiting that long but since the day Dana called and gave me a surgery date of May 15th the days don't seem to be going fast enough Which is making me mad. is this normal or I'm a nut?

It's normal, and expect to go more nuts as it gets closer!!!  But before you know it, it'll be less than a week till your surgery date, and you'll be freaking out!

Congrats, and know it is normal and come here and ask questions - we'll take good care of you!

LOL - just ask these folks how I was before my surgery!!

BTW - I had Dr. Evanson also.  He's a doll baby.  I love him to pieces.

Perfectly normal. A word of warning though...as people post their dates, don't get disappointed or frustrated if their dates are before yours. It all depends on how much of a demand there is on your surgeon & OR space on how far out your date is. Dr. E (aka Dr. McCutie) is a surgeon in high demand...as is Dr. Inmann & Dr. Jones...so May 15th was the earliest he could get you in. He will be well worth the wait for you.

So..in the meantime, please feel free to get to know the 'losers' here on the board!

Thanks Sherri I will keep that in mind and you are so right he is Dr. McCutie but don't tell my hubby I think he is a cutie patootie   I know that he is a busy man and I am happy to wait my turn and know that he will be my surgeon.  I am trying to get the feel of the board it is a new concept to me : )

It is for sure normal to be anxious and want it asap. You will be amazed how quick that date will actually come. I still cant believe I am 8 months out on the 16th. It also took me 2 years and a second surgery date for the final surgery, but it is well worth the wait. Goodluck and hang in there!
