Sisterhood of the traveling Jeans!!!

Ok so here goes the story...

In December I got a box for Christmas with some items Gail sent to me that she had "under-grown" and I was getting ready to start wearing.  In the box was her favorite pair of jeans.  They are so pretty with embroidered flowers on the leg and a cute little belt.  I fell in love with them.  I wore them to the clothing exchange and to church... they were just my favorite!!!

Then sadly in late January I found that they no longer fit me and were a bit too baggy. I had "under grown" them. So I put them up and was keeping them to pass along to another OHer.  I figured it would be Kim.  Then I got the post about Terry needing pants.  They just happened to be her size!  They are an 18/20 and I was so excited.  I took the pants to Terry and explained the story about how they were so special to both me and Gail.  I told her I intended to give them to Kim next but she fit them now so they would go to Kim after Terry gets done with them. 

Well, Terry emailed me and said she was kinda nervous that they were too small looking but she decided to try them on... she expected they wouldnt fit yet.   BUT THEY DO!!! And she was so excited about it!  

So for now the traveling jeans are with Terry.   I hope that when she "under-grows" them she will pass them along to Kim or another OHer that is ready for them and will love them like we have!  I hope to keep them traveling in our OH family for a very long time.  It will make for a cool story someday for us to share with some newbies.

Terry make sure you get a snapshot of you in the jeans!  I had mine taken so we can make a story out of them.

I will get a picture today when my daughter comes to the hospital.  I have them on now and they are so comfortable. 

I will definately pass them on to Kim or whoever is ready for them.  We may have to have a drawing there will be so many people wanting a chance to wear them for awhile.

What a great story and movie is one of my favorite movies. Congrats to all that have "under-grown" them.

I won't be in line to wear them as I am in that size now myself!  However, I think this is so cool!  There needs to be a note or card with them that each person that wears them signs - wouldn't that be neat?

I am a "newbie" here and just getting the logistics in place to try to get my surgery approved.  I hope that one day I will have the pleasure of giving the pants a home for a while.  I just LOVED this story!!!

We have talked about actually having my sister embroider our first inital very tiny around the flowers or something as we pass them on.  Something pretty but not distracting from the beauty of the jeans.

I cant wait to see where they go next.
