Hi all.... I got a script for some ambien yesterday. My doctor assured me I would be okay to drive with it, if I took it at bedtime. I took it at 10pm last night, and slept through till almost 6am this morning. It was the best night's sleep I've gotten in 2 weeks.

It still doesn't seem like this can be real yet. I just want my old life back. It wasn't easy, but I'd take it in a heart beat.

Good morning all.  Busy morning here already with trying to get the girls out of the house to go to school.  Thank goodness it is Friday for them.
Don't forget to change your clocks forward tomorrow night.  This is always the hardest time for the girls to get readjusted.  I can't say that it is easy for me either, but I manage.
Time to get ready for work in a few minutes.  Have a wonderful day all, and stay safe.  Enjoy the warm weather.  I will be walking during my lunch today, and enjoying the warmth of the sun!  Have a great one!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning...

I've been up since 5. I feel like I could lay back down..and I may. Bill has some places that I need to take him to but not until noon or so. Afterward, we're going to go to TGIF's. We don't get there very often so that's a treat to me. I love their french onion soup.

Dawn..I think you're doin a fantastic job on arranging everything!

I hope everyone has a good day today. My tummy is feeling better. I'm just trying to catch up on my rest now. thank you all for your concern & prayers.

good morning all.

Another day to make what we will of it.  What a blessing that is!  I took Reese for a walk yesterday in the sunlight and it felt great.  I have really missed that so much.  I hope to get another chance today.  He has put on 2 to 3 lbs this winter and he needs the exercise as bad as I do.  That's alot when you only weigh 16 lbs to start with!  LOL    He was so happy to be out and about but I could tell he wasnt up to the 3 miles we had been doing last fall.  I will have to work on that with him.

Linda, I am so glad you are able to sleep for a change.  It will help you so much.  I couldn't take Ambien because I am too sensitive to meds.  I had to take Zanaflex (or something like that)because it allowed me to wake up refreshed and not groggy.  I am just glad it seems to help.

Dawn, you are such a sweetie!  I am so impressed with all you have accomplished on this project given the busy life you have right now.  I hope you are finding all the help you need to get things done.  Let me know if you need anything else from me.  I will do my best to get it covered.

I am gonna try to do some deep cleaning around the house.  I am expecting a very special visitor next weekend.  So I have a lot to look forward to.  Next weekend will be a great time for me.  I can't wait to see everyone again and to share time with special friends.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Well I'm headed to Carmel today, my third trip to Indy in as many days but oh well. I'm sooo sleepy. I'm soo nervous and anxious that Dr C will be disappointed with my weight loss. I'm just anxious period. :( I don't know what else to say about it. I'm disappointed and feel like I've failed my RNY.

I just wanted to say that I love you all and I appreciate being able to come here and share my highs and lows.  I am thankful for the faith, love and concern so many of you share with everyone on the board.

But that being said, what are we doing on the computer on such a beautiful day?  Let's get out and walk in the sunshine!

Enjoy your day!

Good Morning!

The weather has been beautiful.  Mabel, my wdck, has been scurring about with her spring cleaning  after a long winter hibernation.  She may be getting her den cleaned up before her bh Martin arrives, IF he decides to stop by this year.  You know how males are.
I have really enjoyed my ladder backed red bellied woodpeckers this year.  I also had a Carolina Wren which I've never had before.  He has a peach belly , he's adorable, and loves my suet right outside my patio door window.  I love all my birds and have a pair of Cooper hawks that "stalk" the area and drop by.  Yes, they have to eat too.  They are huge and luckily I have not seen them eat any of my birds this year as I have in the past.

I my off to Connersville for the week-end to visit a bariatric friend.  We are going to IU Bloomington this W/E to see the traveling broadway production of "Mama Mia".  It is a 2 hr. drive to me to get to her house and then 2 more hrs. to get to IU so I am spending the w/e.

She has lost half of her weight now and her clothes are all baggy so we are going shopping Saturday to an outlet mall in Bloomington and she has no idea what size she wears.  She has lost 100#.  I remember when someone took me shopping after I lost 100# because she said my clothes were too big.  I thought they fit ok.  We all tend to wear clothes too big for us----at least 1 size too big and we think we need to cover up our body.

This gal drug me to the mall and grab these clothes off the rack and wouldn't tell what size they were.  Took me in the dressing room and I knew there was No way in H___ that those sexy, gorgeous clothes would go over MY booty and zip up and snap, etc.  She said that the look on my face was priceless when I put them on and turned around to look in the mirror.  My jaw dropped all the way to the ground and my eyeballs jumped out of my head   Beautiful black dress pants that zipped up the side with a leopard print top that zipped up the front.  Very fitted size 14.  For the first time I saw my hourglass shape.  Everyone nicknamed me Sassy Kat from then on. I have since passed that outfit on to someone else and enjoyed their eyeballs jumping out!   I can't wait to take my friend shopping and see her eyeballs pop.

Have a good, safe week-end everybody.

hugs,
kathy
