Lyn update
Sweetie
I am with you
You know Lyn better than any of the doctors and the things that mean nothing to them, seems like hope to you.
From what ive read and been told he knows you are there Terry and that is something in itself.
Keep your faith up and follow your heart and i pray for you everyday and i know if that was Neil i would be doing just what you are and taking these things as signs from him.
huggs and love Terry

Terry,
I just wanted to share something with you. My mom had me when she was 20. Her next 3 pregnancies were plagued with extreme high blood pressure problems and all three babies died during delivery or within a few hours after. With the 3rd one, my mom had a stroke during the delivery. She was in ICU for 3 months in a "vegetative state." Doctors said she would not wake up and would never function as a person again. Her kidneys even shut down and they had her on dialysis. She did recover...even went to college and became a nurse after that. She heard everything that people were saying in her room when she was in that vegetative state. She said she remembers the docs standing over her talking about what a waste it was that she was just gonna lay there like that for the rest of her life. She said that in her mind she was screaming at them to stop saying that about her, but in reality, she wasn't responding. After she woke up, she was able to tell the doctors many specific conversations that they had over her bed. Keep believing. I believe he can hear you and knows you're there.

Thanks so much Denise for your story. That renews my hope. I keep telling Lyn not to give up and that I will never give up on him and no matter what the outcome I will always be there for him. He should definately know I love him and I also tell him about so many people praying for him. I will keep talking. Thanks Terry
Hang in there, Terry. We're all pulling for you and Lyn.

I know that Lyn was smiling when Tracy and I were up there, and his expression for pain was real. I do not know Lyn very well, but you could look at his face, especially when he would hear your voice and see him smile.
I believe that he was hearing us joking around and talking about his big gorgeous brown eyes. I have no doubt.
Terry, keep holding onto the faith and hope, I have gone through pretty much the same thing that Lyn and you are going through with my sister (except she has not had the WLS). It has been a slow hard road but she is now off the vent and has had the trac out for about 3 weeks now. So there is hope.
I will be in Indy tomorrow morning, is there anything that you need or want. I would like to come by and see Lyn and you if that is OK, before I head back to Marion. Please call me at 765-667-9716 if there is.
Love
Peggy

Terry,
I know I'm behind the curve on this post, but just had to tell you like the other's have said don't give up because you know Lyn better than anyone. I have mentioned before my SIL Nan who had the stroke during her liver transplant and the drs told my brother to unplug her, she was going to be a vegetable so let her go ahead and die. He refused to do it because he "knew" she was in there still. She spent three months at Seaton and after being weaned from the respirator was moved to another facility for rehab. She has had several setbacks, but today 10 months later she is talking, moving her arms, still has her sense of humor. She'll probably have to use a wheelchair, but that's okay. God has brought her this far, He will take Lyn out on the other side too. We are all praying for Lyn's miracle.
