Oh..and if you can't tolerate cottage cheese, do it with any solid protein that you can tolerate..string cheese, tuna, etc. Just measure each ounce before you eat it. Just don't do it with a liquid protein mix or fruit/veggies. And of course...carbs isn't good for you anyway as a total meal.

Something must cosmically be up or we are all in sync because I have the same issue with insomnia lately. Have been having trouble getting to sleep as well as staying asleep. And I use a CPAP. I don't normally have any trouble sleeping.
My DH went to bed early last night after his first full day of work at his new job. I found out that the business he started for is located on 96th and Lexington in Indpls. I have no sense of direction so I haven't a clue where that is. Anyway, he likes it. His first real office, office job as an accountant. He said its A LOT of data entry. He is a number cruncher for sure. As I've said before, he is a bit OCD with numbers.
Gulping down the coffee this morning because I get to sit at a desk all day long in front of the computer and some days anymore around here are very slow. So, if I don't sleep good then its a long day for me.

I would love to find something that utilized my business degree but anymore it seems that a person can't get far with just an associates. I just got my degree in 05 but, the place I am working for as a secretary pays too darn well to leave. I like it here but do wish I had a more challenging career. I told DH that if he liked that job, who knows. I'd like to have another place some day. Only thing is that I have put so much work into my home and yard with plants and landscaping, I hate to move and lose that. I've always wanted a weeping willow tree and that was the first thing my husband bought me for the house right after we moved in. I love my tree.

I guess that must be like making the decision to change our lives for the better through WLS. Change is good and you must leave something behind when ever you move forward. The pain is real no matter what the subject is. Moving, Losing, and Changing all the time. I know I still morn my lost foods a bit. Although at 7 months out I am making some bad decision but, lightly and carefully. It's a balance and somedays I walk to tight rope and others I stand still. Today, I am teetering (on sleep that is) lol. The husband and I have talked about if we ever move it would be after my daughter has gone off to college and he and I could move to some tropical area. We may be the two ol geezers at the "Garden Acres Rest Home" in Florida some day. (ha-ha). Well, one can dream can't they?

Hey, have a good day everyone. I try to start each day off with a little humor. The wrinkles a smile leaves on your face are better than the ones I'm getting else where on my body
Be Well  : )

Morning all,
Sorry I haven't been on much lately,it has been a rough week here. I have been caring for croupy grandkids- oh what fun,(crying, clingy, whiney, snotty noses, etc.) but I love them -good thing my lap is big enough for 2!! i don't get on till after 10pm. so miss all of your posts. I am thinking of you all.

Linda, so glad to hear Mikey will be home soon. Please try to get some rest.I/we are praying for you all.

DH is taking Kenny to get his tires rotated today on his Jimmy, & they are going out for lunch together. My niece is over every day. She is 37,has 3 girls, & has all of the  care on her- her sister & brother are "too busy, too this ,too that, going shopping, etc." to give her a break, so I try to go.(That or her older sister shows up at meal time to be fed. Her son is sent over -to eat! I took a crockpot full of veggies & roast over yesturday, plus they had dessert from my other SIl there, & she complained there wasn't enough for her/them-I nearly lost it!!!Good thing DH wasn't there or he would have. He saw her & her son go threw 8 cupcakes in a matter if minutes-He put his fingers on each one -"cause that way no one would want them,& they would be mine"Oh boy, I am glad I wasn't in there. I guess he told her that her kid didn't need to touch everything -there were others there that might want one ,too.Sorry-I needed to vent, & I am sure alot of you have seen/experienced this ,too.it just breaks my heart that my young niece is going threw all of this.
I' m going to exercise tonight -oh boy, my mew trainer is one good trainer. He really gave me a work out on Tues.My other one left to teach exercise science to kids. he definately gets alot in ,in 30 minutes.
Sherri, I hope you can get some rest & those stomach issues get settled down. They are just excited about going to snowy Minn.-hee~hee!! My stomach acts up when I am either stressed or nervous. Hope you feel better soon, sweety.

I am loving these sunny days.  I got out and walked during my lunch break yesterday and plan to do it again today.  Work has been insane with all the talk about the stimulus package.  My phone has been ringing off the hook.  Everyone wants help and the ones you feel you can help, well they just complain that you can't do more.  AARRRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did have a nice surprise waiting in my mailbox when I got home last night.  I got a lovely card from my Angel on Earth, Gail.  It really made me smile and take a deep breath and just let everything go.

I've been super, duper stressed lately.  I can't wait for Spring Break.  We're going to Orlando for the week.  Of course we're doing the Disney thing but we're also going to relax.  We're planning to visit a friend in West Palm Beach who owns a yacht leasing business.  He's going to take us out on the ocean for a nice relaxing visit.  It's my 40th birthday so I'm going to really enjoy it.

I hope everyone gets the rest and sleep they need.  My daughter has a horrible cough and has been keeping us all up at night.  Hopefully, we're near the end of it.

Of course we're still praying for Linda, Terry and Lyn, and Sherri.  I do try to get on here daily to at least read the updates so we can pray.

Hope your day is as sunny as mine is!  I'm going to try very hard to keep a sunny attitude today.  PRAY FOR ME!!!!

Oodles of love,
Jacqui
