Chicago in June

Who all is going?  Staying Friday and Saturday night? 

The agenda is posted now, and there's going to be a clothing exchange Friday afternoon, and a Casino night Saturday night!!  Sounds like we need to stay 2 nights and come home on Sunday?

I'm going!  I've already paid for my registration!   It would be cool if several of us could get rooms next to each other.  One giant slumber party!  I am SO looking forward to it.  Hubby and son are leaving on a 3 week Grand Canyon, Arches National Park, and Devil's Tower camping trip the same day, so I am on my own for 3 whole weeks!  Woo Hoo!  Girl time!

We're going to be there.  We already booked for Saturday night too but we might stay a couple extra days to see the city since we'll already be there.  Would love to walk the Navy Pier and maybe Michigan Ave.
It's tough getting rooms close together sometimes but not impossible. Checking in together sometimes helps but not always.  Won't hurt to try!

Christie, I so want to go with you. Unfortunately with being off work again now I will not have any vacation time to use for that weekend.

Doggone it Melissa.  It's a shame you won't be able to go!  We'll tell you all about it!  How long are you going to be off work?

Hoping not more than a week or two, but I have no vacation time as it is right now. Maybe next time I can go, and maybe that time it will be in Hawaii ;o)

I'd love yo go. I don't know if Bill woudl or not. He's not one for large crowds we'll see. Aoot will depend on what happens over the next month of so. If I go, I'll have topost & see who still needs a roommate. If I go, I think I'd prefer to take the AMtrach up there & the a bus or taxi to the hotel. That way, I wouldn't have to try to drive with the local idiots. Besides, I figure everything wil be at the hotel like it was for Lexington.

Hmmm... Amtrak - party train!  LOL  I know I absolutely won't drive in Chicago.  Those folks make 465 at rush hour look like a horse and buggy trot.

Everything is going to be at the hotel.  I checked that.  We're all supposed to bring stuff for the clothing exchange Friday afternoon.  Most of the speakers will be on Saturday, followed by a Casino night and bariatric friendly desserts.

I checked the hotel website, and it is a luxury hotel, so looks really nice.  I sure hope you can go!  Mayo's going to fix you right up!  I'm sure one of us will make room for you!

I love riding on a train. Shoot...I could had made the move 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles'...but addd a cruise ship & helecoptor to the list!  I jus tlike to go! LOL!

If it's also like Lexington's, there will be shops & restaurants in close walking distance.
