Here's our getting to know you questions:

Topic:  Theme Parks

1.  What is your favorite theme park?

Mine is probably Holiday World.  I really enjoyed it the last time I went which was a few years back.  I also love Kings Island too though. 

2.  Are you a roller coaster fan or more of a people watcher easy going type?

I am definately not a roller coaster fan.  I love the spinning rides.  I like to watch the kids enjoy themselves too.  But I look forward to this summer going as a thinner person.  I can ride the scrambler again!!!!  Yeah!!

3.  Are you planning to try to go to Holiday World with the OHers this June?

I am counting on it.  I can't wait to get back to Holiday World and especially with some of my favorite people!!!  I am really hoping to get to take the kids along too.

1.  Opryland, because of the being in Country Music capitial.  I have not been since I was a child.  Would love to go back.

2.  I love roller coaster when I was able to fit into them, I will again one day soon.

3.  I would like to go, not sure yet.

Just an FYI, Opryland closed down years ago.  They tore it down and built Opry Mills Mall on it...made me sad.

I guess I have to go with Kings Island, my son loves it there so we both know it like the back of our hands.
2.  Are you a roller coaster fan or more of a people watcher easy going type?
I love the roller coasters!!!   I have not been able to be on one in a few years.  About 4 years ago I did fit on the vortex at KI but boy was it tight.  I tried the racer but had to exit the ride after being humilated by the bar not closing.  I can not wait to ride a coaster this summer with my son, it will be an emotional thing for me. 
3.  Are you planning to try to go to Holiday World with the OHers this June?
I must have missed the deatils of this, but would love to take my grandkids to HW this summer.  To my knowledge they have never been.  I am taking them to KI for their birthday in July. 

1.  What is your favorite theme park?

Mine is probably Holiday World.  I love the water and could live in it. I would say I am a feet on the ground or feel floating in the water kind of person instead of a ride rider.

2.  Are you a roller coaster fan or more of a people watcher easy going type?

Easy going here. I have a fear of heights so I definately will not get on a roller coaster. Went to Thunder Mountain once in Disney World and almost peed my pants (I was an adult too). Never again!!

3.  Are you planning to try to go to Holiday World with the OHers this June?

I don't know anything about the trip, but would love to hear more.

1.  What is your favorite theme park?

As 'corny' as this sounds, Indiana Beach. We love how laid back it is.

2.  Are you a roller coaster fan or more of a people watcher easy going type?

I was a big roller coaster fan although as I get older, I don't like getting beat up as much as I use to by them. So now..I'm more of a water ride fan.

3.  Are you planning to try to go to Holiday World with the OHers this June?

We'll go..even if I can't ride any rides except the train.

On this topic..the summer of 2007 was the first year we had an RV. It was our old C-class. We spent almost every weekend and a few weeks at Amusement parks. We went to Holiday World, Indiana Beach, Kings Island, Six Flags...Kentucky & St. Louis, Funspot (up north), and Cedar Point. At Cedar Point, what we enjoyed the most at the Roller Coaster Capitol of the Midwest was watching the barges & boats on the lake. Ah...we're just gettingolder I guess...

Universal Studios Hollywood

I'm a roller coaster fan.  I will ride almost any of them.

1.  What is your favorite theme park?
I have only been to Kings Island but i love it, the 1st year neil and i got together  we got seasons passes .

 2.  Are you a roller coaster fan or more of a people watcher easy going type?
I am a fan of the faster and higher the better i like it so definately rollercoasters (nothing that spins) for the past 16 yrs i have been a people watcher

3.  Are you planning to try to go to Holiday World with the OHers this June?

1.  What is your favorite theme park?

Holiday World-  I love it!

2.  Are you a roller coaster fan or more of a people watcher easy going type?

I love coasters, but not the wooden ones.  They are too jerky.

3.  Are you planning to try to go to Holiday World with the OHers this June?

Maybe...depends on what we have going on.

1.  Holiday World, it's small enough to enjoy and big enough to have a little bit of everything.

2.  Coaster Fan, although I haven't ridden much in recent years (I think my age is catching up to me!)

3.  I hope we can finally make it this year.  We've planned to go each year and had to change our plans at the last minute both times.
