Visit with Lyn and Terry

Peggy and I just got back from our visit with Lyn and Terry.  I was amazed at the difference in Lyn in just two weeks.  I thought he looked like he was trying to smile with his eyes last time I was there.  But today was different.... He was looking towards me when I would speak to him and he would look for Terry when she talked.  Peggy joked with him and he looked her way and we saw him actually smile more than once.  He had such a bright look on his face when we joked with him. 

He also showed pain and discomfort when he had to cough.  He is having pain in his new incision for the feeding tube. 

But all in all, I was very uplifted when I saw him today.  When I told him I would like to pray with him, he smiled at me again.  It was great to just see some of his personality coming thru.  I told him he has a fan club on OH and we all can't wait to see him doing well and coming home as our miracle!  He again, smiled at me.

He has lost 40 lbs. according to the hospital scales.  Terry was very encouraged by that and told him how proud she is that he is fighting so hard and doing so well.  I honestly think he is making improvements and will continue to do well.  He is a very strong fighter.

Oh, we took some jeans and tops to Terry and knitting needles and yarn.

Thanks for the update- yes, it does sound like he is improving.That is what we have/are praying for!!!! I'm so glad you got to see Terry, and support her. His weight loss has to be helping with his improvement, as well. Thank you God !
