Mikey got moved to Riley Rehabilitation today. He's got a pretty busy schedule of OT and PT daily. He seems to continue to be making progress. He can now have liquids without thickener. That's good. He didn't like the thick drinks, aside from milkshakes from the first floor McDonald's in Riley.

I went to work today in the morning. It was good to be doing something 'normal', but I did have a hard time focusing on our staff meeting.

Linda,  I am so proud of you for being so brave.  You are amazing!  I am happy that you are able to try to get back to your normal routine again.

Its good that Mikey is improving and is able to get the help he needs.  I will be praying for your family.  I hope Mikey can get well soon and come home to you.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Linda I hope that each day things will improve for you as you move through the grieving process for your lil princess.  I am so sorry you have to go through this.  It has been inspiring to see your strength and courage through everything you have been through.  I hope God will lead you to peace in your life.

Peace and Love to you,
Jeannie

Linda, glad to hear that Mikey has gotten moved.  Hopefully the OT and PT will help him recover quickly.  I am sure that the change in the liquids will be helpful to his spirits too.

I am glad that you went back to work. Not the work factor, just the more normal routine again.  I know that nothing will ever feel "normal" again, but in time, it will feel easier.  Prayers are still going out to you and your family.

Take care.
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Linda, you are so brave.  I would have been in a rubber room by now.

It's great news about Mikey.  I am so glad that he is making progress.

I am sure your coworkers understand why you had a hard time focusing.  It was likely very therapeutic though for you to work some today.

Please take care of yourself.  We all love you and are still hugging and surrounding you.
