Hi everybody! I feel like I've been away for a month.

I'm in the middle of cooking a big dinner for Mark's birthday. It's actually Tuesday the 3rd, but we're having the family over at 4:00 today to celebrate. I'm not much of a cook in the first place, but I like to try! I'm cooking for nine today - what was I thinking??!!

I'm doing lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. I got the recipes off the Internet and have never tried them, so I have Papa John's number on standby, just in case. Went to the store to get all the stuff last night...I certainly found out that lasagna is a really expensive dish to make, what with all the cheese and stuff. And...since I don't cook much, I had to buy oregano, basil, garlic salt, etc., because I don't keep that stuff around. What I'm gonna do with what's left over, I don't know! Hopefully it'll keep for a few years, because I'm sure it'll be around that long.

Got my sauce simmering, got the noodles cooked and laid out on foil on the table, cake baked...now I'm just waiting a little while before I assemble everything. Wish me luck!!

Hi Friends~

I am supposed to be cleaning my house, but it's just NOT happening!  Since I started my new job on 1/20, I have super loaded down and haven't been able to be on here.  I miss my OH family very much.  I've spent the past couple hours trying to catch up with everything/everyone.  Guess it's a good thing I'm a fast reader, huh?! 
Sherri~hope you are able to get some rest sometime soon.  That up/down stuff is just exhausting. 
Annette~happy painting!  I'm sure you are doing a fabulous job!  By the way, do you know of anyone we can hire in our area to put a furnace in on the side?  We had a $10K estimate.  Don can do some of the work too...he just needs a little guidance.  I'm always trying to find the best deal.

Christina!  I've missed you, girl.   I got all the painting done except for the small half bath.  It should only take an hour or so, so I should be able to get it done one evening this week. Then it's on to new vinyl tile in the bathrooms and kitchen.

Tell Don to talk to Mike Eppards at Ivy Tech.  He designed the system when I built my house and can give Don all the guidance he would need to do it himself.  Mike can also get you hooked up with a good price on the furnace.

Take care of yourself and don't forget to spend a little time each week keeping us all up to date with you.

I was wondering where you have been hiding! How are YOU doing? How is your journey going? Figured out a routine at the new job, I know that was a concern of yours!? Might we get to visit with you at the bowling fundraiser for Maggie, I sure hope so! Any reason to see my OH family, BUT this one is special, for its own reasons. OH just makes it all the more better! Supporting one of our own! gotta love all of us HOOSIERS! Only we can understand, I guess! LOL!

ANYWAY, i AM JUST GETTING HOME FROM WORK AND NEED SOME UNWIND TIME! So I was checking in on the boards seeing what was up with everyone! Can't call anyone this late, so typing it is! Glad to see ya posting! Hope to see ya sooner next time, heheh!
