Cousin needs prayers

My cousin Rex...which is more like my uncle....lol is having  RnY today...well actually in minutes....Dr. Huse is his doctor, so he is in good hands....Just talked to his daughter and he is a nervous wreck....he has never had to be in the hospital...he is diabetic and a few other health issues...so he is doing suregry to get him healthier and off all the meds.....he is legally blind and believes he will struggle with eating because he is such a picky eater...i tried telling him food will not even be a worry at this point...he can't believe that he can eat 2 cheeseburgers but will only be eating maybe two tiny ounces....

He is on the right track...went to Tracy's support group....will be joining our group when he gets to feeling better....well his daughters will since he can not see....so if you all could say prayers right now....would be greatly appreciated....he is scared.....

I have your cousin Rex in my thoughts. He will be on the losers bench with you all soon. I welcome him to the Indiana board of OH.

Kim,  I said a prayer for him at 5:30 this morning when I got up and started my prayers for the day.  I will continue to pray for him along with my other OH family.  Rex has a special place in my heart right now because he is my first surgery of a support group member.  Please keep me posted and let me know how things go.

Let Rex know that I have him in my prayers and thoughts.  Call or text me on how he is doing.  When you find out what room he is in, let me know, I will be in Indy tomorrow visiting with my sister. I will try to go up and visit with him and maybe walk a few laps together.  Talk soon.

Just heard from his daughter....he is in recovery and so far so good...Huse just came out and said  said he is very sick to his stomach but doin well....she is goin to call me when he gets in his room...thanks for they prayers ya'll....we have a new loser!!!
