FRIDAY!

Good morning all.


Its already Friday!  Where did the week go?  I think time flew by us this time for sure.  I am gonna be busy today with the washer and dryer.  I have so housework to catch up on.  Its just not doing it by itself like I hoped it would. 


I will hope to hear from Neil or maybe even Lisa today and I will let you know if anything comes up to report to you.  She was doing well last night.  He said he thinks they took at least 20 lbs off.  He was shocked at how much smaller she is already.  So I bet she will be thrilled once she is on her way to healing up and can see the difference too.  Please continue to pray for her.

Lyn was supposed to have surgery today the last time I heard.  So please pray for him too.  I hope we hear from Terry so we will know whats up with him.

Good morning everyone!

TGIF is all I can say!

Bill & I have an appointment with our pcp this morning at 9:15. We were going to go get ordered blood drawn first but I just don't feel like going right now so we'll get that taken care of in the morning. I'll let you know what she says about me. For Bill, it's just his anual check-up because of him being a diabetic & having had a quadruple by-pass in 2002...he needs checked to be sure physically that he is still ok. He said that he knows she is going to say 'quit smoking and lose weight'. Yes, Dr. Bill...then heal thyself. lol! I think he's gone to the doctors with me so much that he thinks he knows what all they will say before they even meet eyes with us! Scary thing? Sometimes he has it nailed!!

We'll probably work on getting the airline & hotel reservations done today. Bill really liked everything he saw about the Best Western there. They have hotel vans that will take you ANYWHERE you want to go in the city for free. That's pretty important when you're in a city you don't know, have visual problems, and may need to be able to manuver on your own (which, if they do a surgery, he'll have to do). After we get those taken care of, I imagine I will be snoozing. Yep...I don't feel good. Here it is 7:15 AM and I'm already thinking about bedtime!

I was to go pick up my reading glasses yesterday but just didn't feel up to it. So, I will this morning, I can't wait. I too have some housework to catch up on. I will put on some music and work away.
I added some new pictures to my Myspace page, I still don't feel comfy getting my picture taken. It's always been my task to take the pictures, not wanting me in them.

I'll probably not be getting on the phone much the next few days. To talk is to cough...and coughing is an enemy of my stomach. My stomach has been tender enough as it is lately. It is serving a good purpose to do all I can not to cough though and that's a good thing. My tonsils aren't swollen and my throat isn't nearly as red as it usually gets. I'll call you once I can talk without coughing...

Good morning.  Time to get ready and head to work.  Oh boy, another day, another penny in the pot! LOL

Molly had her class musical program last night.  I took plenty of pictures and video, and will try to get them uploaded this evening after I get home.  Running late this am tho.

Mariah accidentally slammed a folding seat (like in the movie theaters) down on the side of my knee and absolutely destroyed my left leg.  I can hardly stand on it, so it is going to be difficult dealing today.  I can't call in tho, unless it gets really bad at work and they send me to the er.  Otherwise I am just going to have to tough it out, and try my best to deal.  The knee and leg is swollen and bruised on the outside part.  It made me nauseous the instant it happened, so I am wondering if she didn't tear something inside when she did it.  Oh well, we will see how I do today, and then go from there.

I am off wor****il next Thursday but have appointments and such everyday. I wonder if my house will ever get clean! I am finally over my stomach bug(lasted a week). I still think hubby and I could have had a food poisoning but can't think of what we both ate. We were both struck with it within an hour of each other and no one that we were around got it. Well better hop in the shower so I can get to support group. Jana

First and formost, I want to thank everyone for their prayers, and thoughts for me these past 2 weeks with my seizures. As of Sunday, 03/01, it will be 2 weeks since my last one, and then 2 more weeks until I can drive!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Linda. I know that I have never met you, and the only thing we really have in common is that our surgeries are one day apart, but please know that you, your family, and everyone else who was involved is in my families thoughts and prayers. I do not have childeren, and I can not imagine the pain you must be going thru. If you need to talk, please e-mail me. I will be more than happy to listen/read anything you have to say. Big hugs to you, and your family.

Well, I guess thats all I have for now. I have to find a hotel room for this weekend, as one of my dear good friends is coming to visit, and there is just no room at mom's (where I am currently staying)

I am so glad it's Friday!  I tell you what, this stimulus package crap is about to kill me.  I'll sure be glad when it's finally straightened out and people are getting the money in their pockets.  I know it takes a long time to get things in order but wow.  I'm pooped!!!

The local paper finally ran the article about my surgery and support group in today's paper.  We're a very small community so the paper only comes out once a week.  They don't have a website either so I'm trying to figure out how to post it so you guys can read it.  If anyone wants to walk me through that, I'd appreciate it.  I can scan it into a pdf or jpeg if that helps.

Mornin' Posse!

Well it's Friday...and its snowing and raining here...YUK

I got up this morning and went to breakfast with my cousin. We hadn't seen each other since Christmas so was a good thing.

I have gotten back in the saddle and back on the trail. This morning I had 1 egg and got all my vitamins in!  Lunch is progresso light soup and supper is crock pot chicken with a salad. SOOOOOOOO hopefully will start losing again!

Hi all,
I overslept today, & am now paying for it. I leave in 30 min. for our  church's Women's Retreat, in Lafayette, this weekend. I am so looking forward to it. I am in overload as it is, so my mind needs some spiritual nourishment, as well as my soul. My body is sore from a hard workout yesturday afternoon.

I talked to hubby about going to convention in June. I wish I knew what to do- I WANT TO GO-BUT with our finances, & alot going on that month ( my sorority is having its convention in Indy in June26-28th  & I have to be there) leaving the 28th when I get home for our annual week with our daughter &SIL in Minn. I just don't know. He isn't at all excited about going to Holiday World- the old foghie! (You know what I mean) I wanted to go just to be with all my buddies & have fun- but I may just have to give that up. 

  **Linda Kay- if you want to talk about Hospice, or anything, just pm. or call me. We are on the same journey with my SIL.I hope you are taking time for yourself and getting some rest. **

I hope you all having a good weekend, & will be thinking of you. I am so glad Lisa is over her surgery, and on her way with recovery- she told me the one thing she was looking forward to was seeing her toes. After a 20# removal of skin, I'm sure she is gonna feel soooo much better!
