Thanks Floyd!  We really appreciate your hard work!

Can anyone tell me why my name is not listed in the member list?  I am fairly new to this board but I have posted here.  I am confused. 

Also Floyd, Is that why I did not receive a Hoosier Losers Directory?

I am kinda lost on this board. I have a new e-mail now and I can't figure out for the life of me how to change my e-mail address.  Everything is going through my old e-mail address and there doesn't seem to be any moderator that you can ask these questions on how to fix problems with your profile, etc.  I really don't want to start over and sign up as a new member with my new e-mail addy and then I have to re-load all my pictures and my weight loss history, etc. yada, yada.

First, the Hoosier Directory isn't a function of obesityhelp.com. It's something that we on the board thought it would be a good idea to have so Floyd does this service for us. If you'd like to be on the directory & be able to receive a copy of the directory, drop Floyd an email at [email protected]. Include your full name, address, screen name here, email addy, spouse/significant other name, and important dates (birthdate, WLS date, wedding anniversary).

Now..for your email change here on OH..go to:
My OH ...upper left-hand corner
Settings
while in the General Tab, click on 'Contact'
Make changes & save.

That should do it for you. Please let us know if we can be of further assisance...

Thanks a bunch Sherri, for your help.  I hope it works.  I haven't looked at the member list yet.  I did e-mail Floyd but I won't be in the directory that all of you have. I guess I'll have to send out a million PM's till the next one comes out so you all get my contact info. I am looking forward to meeting all of you soon.   

Does that mean I don't get to be a secret elf to anyone since I'm not in the directory?  I don't even know what a secret elf is.  Could someone explain it to me and other newcomers.  I've been an angel to others, a bariatric buddy, but not an elf.

A Secret Elf is like a Secret Pal. It, like the directory, is not an ObesityHelp.com thing but something we on the board likes to do. It brings us Hoosiers just a little bit closer. You remember your person on a monthly basis either by ecard, cards, small gifts, etc. I use a program called Elfster to set it up. If you email me your information to [email protected], I'll be sure that who-ever has your name gets your info...since you won't know who that particular person is (since it's a secret). Being on the directory is one of the rules of participating...so that your elf is able to send you stuff. We like to remember our persons for their special dates as well as holidays.

Because I am getting ready to go up to the Mayo Clinic for a few weeks, I won't be setting this next Secret Elf up until I return...so...~the beginning of April.
